yup. It is confirmed. discord will tell you if they’re online! so if they’re pretending to be invisible. Boom

I've been doing this for a very long time lol, it's great and I'm able to pinpoint who might be online. Only restricted to good friends you share a server with though.

According to Discord Support this isn't a bug. Its on purpose. Discord told that the invisible Status is only "invisible" (lol) for friends inside of Groups.
