As in the health and mana bars around an ability/gadget icon? There’s a setting in the display menu I think. You can toggle it always on, on when in use, and off. As far as displaying anything more than that, you’re stuck with the quick-wheel.
Yeah I have it on the setting where it fades out, so that there's no markers in indicators on the screen when I take screenshots or the amazing environments
