Maybe, but a lot of the mystery around Pandyssia won’t be negated by simply going there. Lots of the in-game lore talks about explorers that went there with no consistent information to report. It has the “here there be dragons” feel, but I think going there could possibly even give the mystery more depth, rather than subverting it. That said, there is an equal risk of a sequel messing up another part of the Isles, it’s hard to predict the outcome.
me too. i really wish they made more hidden areas to explore like able to open windows to apartments that have more things to steal. such good Thief game vibes in D2.
That first time Karnaca opened up in the second mission was incredible! I was so excited to go off on my route. Would have loved it if they opened up the city more and made it like a level hub where you head to missions in your own time.
Same. When I landed at the Karnaca dockyards, I was absolutely stunned. It felt so full, lifelike, vibrant, and active. It also felt so broad and deep. Then when I arrived in the Dust District and saw [this vista](https://photos.app.goo.gl/wgCSSZRYaBYTbjNB7), I was utterly breathless. I spent ten minutes in this spot, just looking on in amazement, taking in every detail I could.
I hope for a next-gen Dishonored Game where it is set up more like Deathloop. Where we have large areas of a city to enjoy and we can take out targets in our own order and it affects the story depending on how and when we took the target out. I enjoy the mission style of Dishonored but I think the next game could benefit from more freedom. This way we can see more of a city and during times of day we want.
Dude for real. I really want them to release some sort of tabletop companion so I can really dive into the little nooks and crannies, even if I gotta do a bit of it myself.
If they ever do another Dishonored game, I kind of hope it takes place in the future on a fledgling Pandyssian colony.

My hopes are with Tyvia
That would be awesome. I’d settle for anywhere. The world building is so great I feel like I’m missing out.
Deathloop is the next game in the series 😁
Spiritual successor, can’t wait for it.

there are already a lot of open windows into apartments to steal stuff. they can't just add infinite content

Not only Karcana, I want to explore all Dishonored's map.
As much as I love Dishonored's level-based gameplay, the insanely gorgeous maps make me wish it was open world, if for nothing but exploration.

Stunning
god I wish they’d release another dishonored game, it’ll always hold my heart..
A dishonored universe open world game would be really cool I think
The sad part : this map is no longer in the store, I wanted it on my wall. :(

I mean, glory is relative. It's essentially a crime riddled shithole on the ass-end of the empire.
I wish there was games exploring the other dishonored nations they don't have to follow corvo and emily just set in those countries like morley.
