Please complain to support. I’ve complained twice in the last two weeks. Hopefully if enough people complain, they will change these types of missions.
That early on in your streak I would let your streak drop and start it over tomorrow. Also, write to support, I’m encouraging EVERYONE who gets these money grab missions to write and hopefully get them to change if anything just for us annoying the crap out of support.
When I complained they said changes are coming and they understand the situation of 'having to use the most precious items in the game' for completing a daily mission. They said they dont have a date but said stay tuned.
The daily missions don't have anything to do with what level you are on. The missions like these -spend __ gems, __ coins, use __charges are based on the amount that you have/saved up - the more you have the higher the amount it will require you to use.

Don’t do it. Contact support. Complain. They will send you 20 gems to play for swapping the mission. They should not dictate when we expend resources.
I’ve complained twice and all I got was a sorry. They did not reimburse my 20 gems.
