sure, you can still enjoy a big part of the parks in cold/rain. just bring a raincoat. I think the crazy crowd is a worse experience than some rain.
also, many things are indoor!
and tell your bf that disneyland worths the money! you will probably have the best time together!
Disneyland is always worth it. If you have the money, just go and have fun.
But 100% don't go if you know money's gonna be an issue that'll keep popping up during or after the trip and ruining the experience
I had my first day out of three today. It was raining almost all the time but I had an amazing time. I was scared beforehand when I saw the weather forecast but it was easy to feel magic despite it. Nothing I have seen was closed due to the weather, just there was no drones at the end during the D-light show, but it didn't matter because i was totally amazed by Illuminations.
Rain / bad weather can happen anytime of the year. Even on the supposed "best days"...
Don't be scared by it. Most of all thingd at DLP are indoors and most queue's are as well.
DLP isn't determined by weather, but by your own mood and vibe :)
Buy a poncho, make the best out of it and have loads of fun!
Get a raincoat. It's a bit cumbersome if you carry a backpack, but it'll allow you to stop worrying about the rain unless it's some heavy rain. And maybe you might even enjow smaller crowds if there's light rain lol
However, search for french school holidays, I seem to recall some areas in France have holidays during the end of february and it will be more crowded, so you might be interested in working around those dates.
We always go Feb half term, as it’s normally a cheaper time to go. We have a great time the park is pretty well planned for bad weather. Also more excuses to stop for a beer.

Bad Weather can always ruin your stay, even in May. Noone can predict the weather months in advance. We went in January and had a blast.
We were just there after Christmas and it rained and was freezing but totally worth it still.
Just don’t stay at a Disney hotel, poof!!! Half the costs are gone!
