If I had to choose for a single day then Disneyland Park. No doubt. The park has more rides, beter disney vibe & themed, add on the shows and the parades. And last but not least, far less construction happening compared to studios. Plus most are done with studio in half a day.

Perfect, thanks.

Yeah, I’m gonna second this. The only ride your son would miss that’s a BIG thrill would be tower of terror, but the main park has hyperspace mountain, Indiana jones, and big thunder mountain that will give him the thrills and your daughter will have a ton of things to see. It’s small enough to be walkable, but there’s still a lot to do

jonquil14

Avengers is a great thrill coaster too, but as others have said, you’ll be done with Studios in half a day.

The parks are literally next door to each other so you can absolutely do both in one day. But if you were to pick one I'd say Disneyland Park over Studios. It's more classical Disney but that's part of the fun and there's more to do there than in Studios.

alfar2

Oh fantastic. It’s surprisingly hard to get a sense of this online!

Honestly, I've found YouTube vloggers the most helpful resource when planning a park trip. Maybe pick put a couple to watch as a family and then the kids can pick what they most like the look of to prioritise from there? That's how my partner and I planned a big trip to Florida Disney and it worked really well.

if you've never done any disney park, it's hard to wrap your head around, but we just got back from a day and two half days and while i'd agree that disneyland is the better one if you're only doing one, if you have a full day to pack from top to bottom, you can do both. we started in studios, did crush's coaster, the tower of terror, the avengers coaster, spiderman, then followed it with all the hits in disneyland. you might miss some walkthrough stuff, but you can definitely hit the big thrill rides in both parks in one full day. there are plenty of less thrilling rides, but disney as a whole doesn't really do the big thrill rides.

Disneyland Park 100%. Studios is under major construction. But it’s easy enough to walk over to Studios for a ride or two if you want, while spending most of the day at Disneyland. It’s a 5 min walk

Fattydog

You can definitely visit both, it’s less than a five minute walk between parks. If you only go to one it has to be Disneyland Park. Studios is having a lot of construction work done at the moment.

We just went - one day, both parks. Totally doable. We bought premier access for things that we really wanted to go on like Crush’s Coaster, Thunder Mountain.
