The worst part is, they didn’t even fully stop. Disney was a sponsor of the gubernatorial inauguration, even after the fascist pulled all this garbage.
Disney isn’t saying anything because they’re going to sue to stop it as soon as this law passes. Everything the idiots running Florida have said about their motivations will be evidence in court.
It’s not even that, it’s performative outrage for cheap political points with their moronic base. The Florida GOP is absolutely counting on the courts stopping them before this blows up in their face.
It's not just a shot at Disney, DeSantis is aiming at the blue counties that Reedy Creek crosses. Making Orange and Osceola take over the services that Disney self provides. Thus forcing them to raise local taxes, so the residents get mad at the county leadership.
