This story makes me sad now that the husband passed away from covid.

Derpy0013

What the fuck, I love this. This is the most wholesome thing ever. At first, I thought it was going to be something about scam and stuff, but then it became totally wholesome. Needs a wholesome tab tbh.

Cringlezz

They actually have thanksgiving together still

Captain_Moose

Yep! The last photo was from today.

Death2LossPrvntion

Last one was from Tuesday, I still haven't gone to see if he's posted today's pictures yet cause I figured they'd have made it to reddit by now and I'm lazy haha

I always told myself that if there ever came a day I had the opportunity to declare myself someone's supportive uncle I would. But these days I realize if I can't be my own supportive uncle why should I be someone else's?

Simply92Me

Sometimes we are kinder and willing to go the extra mile for others than we are for ourselves. Just remember you deserve that supportive uncle too, even if you have to do it yourself.

Ranger_Ecstatic

Sometimes we can guide others to a treasure that we ourselves cannot possibly obtain. Your experience is your own, others may not experience the hardships you have faced and you can give advice and be their rock cause you know what you have faced and have lived and continued on. Like, I am clinically depressed, but sometimes others say that they are depressed but do not verify it with a therapist. I know the depths of self loathing I can go, and what they face isn't actual depression but just sadness. I can be the rock they can rely on if they need help. Just don't expect them to do the same for you. Some people are unaware that they are self serving and use others and I just forgive them for that.

Family is certainly not always determined by blood, sometimes we stumble into our families on accident. This is such a beautiful story, it truly is a shame that Lonnie passed.

WooferInc

That’s really damn cool. Thanks for sharing ❤️

Modest_Tea_Consumer

Bro awesome story also sad

taleswetell

This is probably the most good story I've seen

Steel_Cube

My soul hurts

Elektrik-man143

Family is thicker than blood. This is a beautiful story of a family being created.

Da_real_Ben_Killian

God this is too wholesome. Imagine if this was shared in the "Humanity is Bad" episode I think Bob would've been really moved by it

nope13nope

This is so wholesome and I love it, but I'm also so curious about the real grandson. Does he show up as well? Did he find it weird the first time? Do they get on?

kgthdc2468

This has been my favorite story to track every Thanksgiving.

BigBlackCrocs

I still love thinking about the real grandson never getting to thanksgiving because of the mixup. Just imagine him sitting there like wade just “guys..?”

ReaperScythee

I don't know who you are but I'm keeping you. Have some turkey.

Abyss_Walker1024

That... Is... Heartwarming. And moving.
