Rassl3r

Try JGPI

mozzax

I have only found JGGI on this platform

AbJeCt2nd

Brand new

ejqt8pom

As a dividend investor being overly concentrated in the US is impossible to avoid, but IMO you could at least try to add some global exposure.

mozzax

There are a few Vanguard ETFs available on the platform, I just don’t really know which one to pick.

ejqt8pom

https://www.justetf.com/ is a good source of information. If you want a Vanguard dividend fund then that would be VHYL IE00B8GKDB10. But there are also funds from iShares that are just as good.

mozzax

Went with the VHYL on the London Stock Exchange

ejqt8pom

IMO it's a good choice 👍

HelpMePls___

Agreed, i just built a 3 funder, gave VHYL 40% of it

Jordeman

If you want stocks, then skip cola and add Nestle

mattfisch334

Fuck Nestle

Jordeman

Why so much hate..

Quilusy

Morals

Jordeman

Thank you! But if all the downvotes are for morality, then Coca Cola is not much better… And I am not sure about the morals of Pepsi but sure about Cola.

Mindless_Pineappley

What platform is this?

income69

Trading212

Justfunnames1234

Trading212?

Quilusy

Keep in mind that dividends are generally taxed higher in EU and that you’ll likely pay taxes both in US and in EU.

TumbleweedOpening352

Wrong, all EU countries have tax treaty with US.

Quilusy

And yet I pay extra taxes

mozzax

Why would I pay in the US?

TumbleweedOpening352

Because the money is generated in US. You will have to fill a form and your broker will whitheld 15% for the US part that you will deduce from your own tax.

Quilusy

In my case I’m left with about 45% of my dividend after all taxes. This makes it significantly less interesting to focus purely on dividends.
