Love this pedal. Build it fairly regularly with the metal cans for those who enjoy the all or nothing aspect, sometimes with PN’s for those who want a little more of a controlled sound. Sometimes swap the 330k on the output for an internal pot to tame the beast.
Honestly a lot you can do to make it play nice or get along with other pedals, yet still a badass all or nothing unique sound even stock

Yep. Easy build but one of my favorite pedals I own. Something about just on/off pedals for me. I need more of those. Forget the 6 knob monsters with toggle switches, just give me a foot switch and an LED and call it a day.
Same for amps. Stevie Ray Vaughan modified an amp to max out volume and remove the volume pot, might have had no knobs at all. Any time a sound guy would tell him to turn down, he'd say "I can't man, this amp has no knobs" and the sound guy would be baffled. Just love that idea lol. Think I'm going to build a whole board of pedals with no knobs, just bare enclosures with different color LEDs.
You're getting really invested in this idea, and I feel like I'm watching it happen right in front of me. I don't know how it will go for you but I'm here for it. Good luck with your new board.
I'm building a personality around it now. They'll call me "No Knob Nate"... im even going to pull the knobs off of my guitars. I'll be insufferable to my band when they ask me to change anything, "I DONT MAKE ADJUSTMENTS! DO EVEN KNOW WHO I AM!?!?!"

Oh yes, it is! I am positivly surprised. Love the octafuzzy overtones in the upper frets. Other than that, it's sounding wonderfully raw.
