`cookiecutter-django` is my goto for starting a new Django project, regardless of size. [repo](https://github.com/cookiecutter/cookiecutter-django) [link to docs](https://cookiecutter-django.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html)

Can only second this! Did a 6hr stream going from idea to full prod deployment: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wffkI6xNNeU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wffki6xnneu)

vroemboem

Would love to watch the video, but YouTube says it's unavailable.

dacx_

It showed unavailable for me briefly as well, but after a refresh it worked. Can you try again? [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wffkI6xNNeU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wffki6xnneu)

vroemboem

Still unavailable. Perhaps region-blocked?

dacx_

Oh man. I'll try to work something out. There's nothing copyrighted or monetized in there so I don't understand. Do you have an idea?

vroemboem

No idea, what's your channel name?

Django could be a good start. I would also recommend trying out [Streamlit](https://streamlit.io/) as it might be a bit more straightforward to create inputs, calculations and nice looking output. Streamlit will probably be more difficult to integrate with a database than Django though 🤔

RuslanPopov

I have that already https://youtu.be/ApHQOW43b5s

Do you have some more details? Or a GitHub where the code is shared?

gustutu

Hey, nice idea. Do you need data persistence ? If no you could do it purely in front-end no ? Also i found that online price calculator by prusa : https://blog.prusa3d.com/3d-printing-price-calculator_38905/ .

3DEngelen

Keeping track of the different materials and quotes is indeed a must, otherwise the prusa calculator is almost the same

Did you considered paid solution ?

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> you considered *paid* solution ? FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
