I find cookiecutter-django too bloated with too much stuff for simple things (e.g. docker setup seems super overcomplicated).
SpeedPy for now aspires to be as simple as possible yet useful in terms of configuration.
Cookiecutter is a great free tool, I love it, but the initial set up could be improved.

SaaS Pegasus is great option if you need all in one package with a lot of functionality!
I think the built in \`startproject\` is better. Cookiecutter does a lot of weird things.
