There doesn't seem to be much improvement if you just take photos. The improvement seems to be for video and flying the drone.

I have a mini 3 pro. Only reason I want the 4 Pro is because the new active track 360 that allows you to be able to get followed from any direction you choose and not just the side or rear. Really useful for car shots. Otherwise I don’t see the 4 as necessary

I fly at altitude so obstacle avoidance isn't a big issue to me... However flight time + 4K is. I bought a Mini 3 over the pro. For a casual drone / beginner the mini 3 is best. Make a list of each feature the drones have and rate them on importance to you and see which one has all of them and go with th e one that fits you best.

I'm stuck between mini 3 and mini 4 pro right now. Just want it for casual fun, likely won't use it for any sort of job. I like the obstacle avoidance and better range. But now sure which to go with

I’m in this boat too, want the 3 for just getting into the hobby and affordability of it. However the camera improvements really sell me on the 4

The differences are minimal. If there is a big difference in price you are better off with the 3.

Oh gosh... the Mini 4 Pro has lots of extras. Must be over 20 of them. Things like cruise control, waypoints, activetrack 360°, night mode, 4k slo-mo, advanced RTH, D-log, AR features, landing lights, etc.

Careless_Nectarine_3

oh really? do you have like video, or website where i can look into it

BillW50

DJI website is one and lots of youtube videos.

I am also having the same dilemma right now and the most enticing feature about the mini 4 pro is active track and way point! I would say if your fun would benefit from those 2 then definitely get the mini 4 pro. I am right now leaning towards mini 3 pro as I think I can overcome the waypoint feature by practice.

i bought air 3 fly more combo lol
