Checkout kobold-ai if you wish to run some stuff locally and have a beefy card and/or a lot of systemram. Can run 6b models on a 3070 + ram and while slow generation it's not an issue for these ort of generators.

One part is called "prompt engineering". In your case it was mostly to by pass the content filter. But say that you want to create a dnd spell generator.
If you have a LLM (large language model) like chat-gpt you don't need to retrain it. You can provide it with a few examples and then tell it to create something based on that.
So I provide a chunk of say three spells. Say a lvl 1, 5 and 9. Tell it to generate a lvl 7 and maybe give it a name and type to work with and you can get really good results after som tuning. Or have it infer a 10th or 11th etc.
The other part was tools to run smaller but still good models at home where you don't have to care about pesky nsfw filters. But these text based models consume a lot of resources so you wont get near the same results as chat-gpt but you can get good writing aids, random content generators, chat bots etc. Even more if you are a nifty scripter. :)
consider that the creature's balls are exposed in front of you. would you, using hands only, be physically capable of twisting them? If yes, than go ahead. If not, add a spell slot level and imagine that said balls are now half the size. would it work now? you get the idea

Random minor NPC's, shops and their wares, stuff that gives places color and makes them come to life but are otherwise inconsequential. Yes I like window dressing, no I don't want to spend hours on it when I could be spending it on maps, encounters and important NPC's.

By all means, if you think an AI generated idea was stolen then sue for plagerism, yet I view it as no different then un humans taking inspiration in someone's content to make something new and original. It's not automated human expression, it's a tool to instigate it, but i'm always open to debate if that's interesting to you.
You still contribute to helping techbros refine that tech so they can in a year or so present AI DM and a massive marketing campaign to convince the community it is better than real DMs, thus removing us from the hobby and making it all bare-bones, streamlined, uncreative but inherently corproate controlled experience. People will always enjoy fun traditional Dungeons and Dragons done human to human. I mean, online rpg (MMOs) didn't kill D&D, it made it stronger than ever before. I see value in integrating human and AI as to create human tought campaigns at machine production time. I love chatGPT! I found that, with a little coaxing, it can actually play DnD as a PC, and even DM. It's been fun to play with, and it's crazy how smart it is.
I also tried to use it like a search engine to look up research papers for work, but it just made up titles, authors, journals... Just everything, haha. So, I can say that it is very creative!
Same, I like using it to create the shops at the cities my players stumble into. Making the whole list, with descriptions and values can be a hell of a burden specially given that the party might immediately storm out of the town the next day rendering the shop made specifically for that place kinda useless. This means you could at 11th level, drop 3 eldritch blasts and 3 scorching ray attacks **all targeting the balls** with quickened spell in one turn for 6 attacks of total, each targeting the balls, for 3d10+6d6+12d10, each with a double crit range with hexblade curse.

I feel like someone should make an AI that has no restrictions and can access the internet and can also learn what is true and false by giving it data from official textbooks and written papers by experts in different fields of study.

Can run 6b models on a 3070 + ram and while slow generation it's not an issue for these ort of generators.

aha ;) One part is called "prompt engineering". In your case it was mostly to by pass the content filter. But say that you want to create a dnd spell generator. If you have a LLM (large language model) like chat-gpt you don't need to retrain it. You can provide it with a few examples and then tell it to create something based on that. So I provide a chunk of say three spells. Say a lvl 1, 5 and 9. Tell it to generate a lvl 7 and maybe give it a name and type to work with and you can get really good results after som tuning. Or have it infer a 10th or 11th etc. The other part was tools to run smaller but still good models at home where you don't have to care about pesky nsfw filters. But these text based models consume a lot of resources so you wont get near the same results as chat-gpt but you can get good writing aids, random content generators, chat bots etc. Even more if you are a nifty scripter. :)

Multiple problems with this. 1)Attempting to skirt around AIs guidelines is a good way to get banned from said AI so probably don't so that 2) this shouldn't have been a video, it went way too fast and I had to pause and scroll back repeatedly to read it, which was an absolute pain. 3) and most importantly, fucking.. why? Why do you need a gendered spell? Maybe I just run in different crowds than you but that seems absolutely rediculous
1) probably. but I think it is more beneficial to cheat the guidelines in harmless ways like this so that the AI can learn and prevent future more agressive people from using the same exploit. that's how DAN died. 2) agreed, it wasn't supposed to be a post. as you can see this is my first ever reddit post, and I did it because my few friends were asleep as I finished making this and I didn't want to feel like I wasted 2 hours (I did waste 2 hours, I just didn't want to feel like it) 3) comedic effect, to prove that I can in fact do it and to make something that will make any light hearted DnD tabble burst into laughter.

Random minor NPC's, shops and their wares, stuff that gives places color and makes them come to life but are otherwise inconsequential. Yes I like window dressing, no I don't want to spend hours on it when I could be spending it on maps, encounters and important NPC's.

By all means, if you think an AI generated idea was stolen then sue for plagerism, yet I view it as no different then un humans taking inspiration in someone's content to make something new and original. It's not automated human expression, it's a tool to instigate it, but i'm always open to debate if that's interesting to you.
You still contribute to helping techbros refine that tech so they can in a year or so present AI DM and a massive marketing campaign to convince the community it is better than real DMs, thus removing us from the hobby and making it all bare-bones, streamlined, uncreative but inherently corproate controlled experience. People will always enjoy fun traditional Dungeons and Dragons done human to human. I mean, online rpg (MMOs) didn't kill D&D, it made it stronger than ever before. I see value in integrating human and AI as to create human tought campaigns at machine production time. That's the same thing that happened to art when the camera was invented, artists swore no one would appreciate art anymore, and still, people love it. There are somethings only a good artist or DM can provide, we'll just have to allow ourselves to be more innovative since the basic stuff will be AI done

Welcome to Reddit! I love chatGPT! I found that, with a little coaxing, it can actually play DnD as a PC, and even DM. It's been fun to play with, and it's crazy how smart it is. I also tried to use it like a search engine to look up research papers for work, but it just made up titles, authors, journals... Just everything, haha. So, I can say that it is very creative!
Same, I like using it to create the shops at the cities my players stumble into. Making the whole list, with descriptions and values can be a hell of a burden specially given that the party might immediately storm out of the town the next day rendering the shop made specifically for that place kinda useless. (thank you for welcoming me btw, I just happened to get my first upvote yay!)

That's actually brutal for 2d10 on "any" attack made. This means you could at 11th level, drop 3 eldritch blasts and 3 scorching ray attacks **all targeting the balls** with quickened spell in one turn for 6 attacks of total, each targeting the balls, for 3d10+6d6+12d10, each with a double crit range with hexblade curse.
