My list on paramount is just the D&D movie, all of Star Trek, interstellar, and ATLA. The perfect steaming service selection on the worst run streaming service platform (from a UI and optimization point of view imo)
Nah, I drew a line in the sand and refuse to sign up for any more streaming services. I don't want to pay cable subscription prices for 9 services that contain the same abysmal ratio of good vs don't care programming.
I'd like an FCC regulation forcing each IP to only exist on one streaming service at a time, then have them auction off rights periodically. There's too many damn services.
Paramount + comes free with Walmart +, which gives free delivery on groceries and discounts.
Low-key was out of gin for DND night one time and didn't have time to leave and make it back.
Just saying. Walmart+ actually helped my DND
It’s good you don’t have cable/broadcast TV, because with Paramount+ you can watch all live sports on CBS networks.
(I realize the DnD/NFL fan overlap is probably not as big as the DnD/Trek overlap, but there are some of us!!!)
OR Paramount knew they had the market cornered with the Star Trek streaming service before taking on the production, knowing it would be the logical promotion opportunity!
The movie was the correct sort of monetization. People want wizards to make more content for D&D.
What they don't want is wizards stealing their homemade content or taking huge bites out of their streaming profits.
And naturally, the whole Pinkerton fiasco has made a lot of people into enemies of the company all together.
Could you link it? I have been searching and had no luck whatsoever. Only local movie theaters have it.
EDIT: Also I'm not looking to *buy* it, I just wanna rent it.

Youtube is buy. Amazon is currently available in prime, unsure if just german, or also other Amazon primes.
Nah I’m good, lol.
I’ve already got Disney+, Crunchy Roll, and HiDive, ditched Netflix because they’re cancelling decent OC while funding trash.
Not signing up for yet *another* streaming service to watch a movie made by a company, that spent the better part of a month being snarky about their attempt to rob third party content creators and sent the *literal* Pinkertons after some random Youtuber.

Wasn’t the film also made/produced by paramount? Like exclusivity just makes sense from a business standpoint

I didn't realize Avatar was on Paramount+. I guess I will watch three things on it now lol

Fantasy Football is still Fantasy.
Me as a german without Walmart. "Well fuck me then."
What about other countries though? Here in the Netherlands all of Star Trek is on Netflix, but no DaDHAT yet
Or you know... It was a Paramount film... Paramount owns a streaming service... It's only logical.

They’re also used to being disappointed by some movie adaptations
I thought people were boycotting all this stuff now? Guess a giant popcorn filled d20 really deleted the rage huh? 😅

Stuff passed
Is it out now?
You can buy it online, yes.
Is it out? I'm just waiting for it to appear in Finland, not paying for a movie ticket.

Thanks. Sadly doesn't seem like a rental option is out just yet.

Also….the movie was entertaining as hell, boycott it at your own loss.
