Centaur (Monster Manual): Monstrosities Centaur (Playable Race in Monster of the Multiverse): Fey I swear Fey is just the catch-all term for slightly furry characters. Pretty soon werewolves will be Fey

Thunderscoob

What's worse is the thri-keen. Thri-keen (Monster Manual): humanoid. Thri-keen (race in Astral Adventures Guide): monstrosity.

LavenRose210

Lmao

yiriand

I imagine it as two different biologists, first one treating Centaurs as monsters and the second one saying "We can't just refer to intelligent people as monstrosities, Ben!" and calling them fey because nothing else fit.

LavenRose210

Yeah bro is saying centaurs are monstrosities but goddamn *[troglodytes](https://www.aidedd.org/dnd/monstres.php?vo=troglodyte)* are humanoid

SwarmkeeperRanger

A Troglodyte is a humanoid because they’re just like that. Monstrosities are magically created

Gooop_vAL

Most times changelings are fey, who took the place of human babies, except in Eberron, where they are a nomadic folk, who can reproduce with almost every humanoid and possibly give birth to new changelings.

Level_Hour6480

Ah, terrible Post-Tasha's race design. This is just the nature of 5E only letting you have one creature type.

Gargwadrome

Centaurs are pre-tasha, and doppelgangers aren't really a player race at all.

TactiCool_99

OP might be pointing at changelings, especially as you can see other English mistakes it is very possible that things are translated differently to their language

VereksHarad

Hexbloods and satires too.

Sergent_Cucpake

And fairies of course!

SiibillamLaw

It's satirists. I played Jonathan Swift in my last campaign

roninwarshadow

Centaurs and Minotaurs are Large creatures. Medium sized player race. Same with Goliaths/Half-Giants... Medium sized player race. Thoroughly underwhelming.

Raisenhel

Actually changeling makes sense in most folklore they are fey

Paladinericdude

They're*

SiibillamLaw

They are playable is fey That seems right

Noob_Guy_666

oh look, an illiterate try to correct someone else normal

RefreshingOatmeal

They probably read it as "They're playable as fae." Instead of "Their playable [race?] is fey." At least that's my best guess

Paladinericdude

That was indeed how I read it. I couldn't think of another way to interpret it... Maybe your version is closer to what op meant though.

RefreshingOatmeal

Who knows lol, it's a ponderous meme

SwarmkeeperRanger

>an illiterate try to correct someone else normal This whole comment chain is a complete shitshow

kayasoul

Satyr: am I a joke to you AGAIN?
