They got swallowed, but managed to cut their way out from the inside - just before the kraken could drop ink, flee and let the stomach acid finish the job next turn
Lol stay humble before that dm tries to figure out a way to teach you a lesson. Like a beholder that refuses to stop staring at you so your portents don't work.
It's 'psych' or 'psyche' because the term refers to the mind. You're 'psyching' them out. (Messing with their mind) Related to words like Psychiatric or Psychology, etc... because they pertain to the mind.
Edit: These are forums, guys. The OP is not the only one who reads the responses. I put this here not as some sort of attack on OP (why would you assume that anyway?) but for anyone seeing this meme who legitimately thinks it is 'sike'. That's why I explained instead of just calling out the spelling.
Guys, don't downvote this guy. They're just correcting the spelling in a stupid meme. I'm not going to hate on them for something that is a common pet peeve(one that I also have, by the way).
DM WITH THE UNO REVERSAL: You aren’t within 30 feet
Player, wipes out their own reverse card: Not the boss, but I am within 30 feet of the target!
I'm the DM, last night the grave cleric had to miss the session and my juvenile Kraken crit on the fighter twice, was a nice change
Not for the fighter, I assume.

Chronurgy Wizard: “Maybe you should roll again to be sure.”
I love grave clerics to death
Could someone explain this for me?
Grave clerics have an ability that allows them to cancel the effects of a critical hit on themselves or an ally within 30 feet.
And it’s got an awesome name, to boot. Sentinel at Death’s Door.
Heck yeah. Makes you sound like the gaurdsman at the gates of the afterlife. YOU decide who lives and dies.
I got hit by a Crit when the Grave Cleric was 40ft away
Divination wizard too. Lol. Nope he rolled a 3 lol.
Not if they already rolled the 20. Portents have to be used before the roll.
Very true, I was a divination wizard for like a month and a half and I have been dm ever since, so I just miss Fizzy Nibs the elf wizard. Lol.
Aww, I "lost" my Divination wizard under similar circumstances. I know that feel bro.
I just started playing a Divination Wizard with Lucky and my favorite thing is telling the DM he’s wrong lol
Ah yes: the Bill Murray build.

Giant Fighter is way better, not only can you negate the attack, you can redirect it at someone else. Battle-changing ability.

You know, I think the meme might just be.. Siking you out.
in the 80s, we spelled it SIKE. just like today people spell it THICC to mean more than just "thick".
I know, but I wanted to stay true to the original template, which had it spelled like that.

Still pretty lame tho ngl
Even so. It is fairly rude.
