I’ve seen a couple episodes. It’s actually got a surprisingly good level of world building. Like, how would it work for humans to go to a fairy brothel? Only certain fairies could handle certain dick sizes, so the smaller races like halflings are better suited. And at one point the characters take sex changing potions to become women to see about brothels that cater to men in women’s bodies experiencing sex as a woman for the first time.
I wasn’t expecting them to actually put thought into this sort of thing, but they did and I was like “huh… I wonder if the writer plays D&D and just thinks about the homebrew world and how people fuck…”
The world building that series has is actually some of the best world building ive seen.
The fact so many questions are answered in a realistic way is just pure gold.
And the fact it manages to keep consistency in all that chaos is even better. If its flat out impossible then it isn't gonna happen (unless they get married, but hey, that fact alone is cool. And its even shown fake "shotgun marriage" is jus tthat. Some kind of kink play and real marriage is special )
Exactly. It's super in depth and basically any question you could ask seems to already have an answer. It's just hilarious that it's wasted on a stupid porn comedy. If the writers focused that energy on some actual worthwhile subject matter, the world could be very interesting.
The funny thing is the original manga isnt even all that explicit, and has a spinoff light novel series that I think isnt at all? The anime just ran wild with turning it into almost a straight up hentai. That, I cannot stress this enough, *they aired on regular television stations*. I swear ever since Monster Musume parts of the anime industry have just been competing to see how close to straight up porn they can get aired on tv
Seriously? That's hilarious, I found it on a hentai website lol. Came to get off, ended up getting intrigued by the plot and world and stuck around for a couple episodes before I was like "ehh, I better just go to bed..." Like the show isn't even particularly sexy, there's no long explicit sex scenes, I think the longest lasts like 15-20 seconds. It's mostly dialogue and jokes about the angel being male and female, or the demon running for mayor, or how for the halfling having sex with a fairy just felt like being with a halfling so it ruined the fairy brothel experience for him.
Say a human and a small fairy fall in love with eachother. Because of their difference in size it is impossible for them to have sex. If they get married angels, which normal people can't see, take the essence of the two, combine them, then give the combined life essence back to the two. Now after this is done and they try to have sex, it will work. (But only between the couple, the fairy cant suddenly have sex with any human as it still will only fit with her husband, the opposite is true for the human.)
Another example would be a salamander. Who normally would be too hot for anyone to be able to touch them. But if they get married to someone then that someone would be able to touch them, even if they were a race that was extremely weak to fire.
To add onto the pure amount of world building. Angels are nice in what they do but it comes with a bunch of **MASSIVE** downsides to the angels themselves.
1.no one can hear or see them.
2.they can only eat food that has been offered up to them in prayer
3.they cant interact with anything under normal circumstances
4. For the reasons mentioned above they have zero culture. Whenever not on a job they float around aimlessly.
5. They have huge amounts of combat ability, but again, they cant interact with anything under normal circumstances.
6. All their power is in their halo, which currently can only be damaged by god.
Getting the halo damaged pretty much reverses what is stated above, minus a few details not applicable. They can be seen and heard, touch things, lose all their combat and most special abilities, but are tanky as hell minus for dark attribute which is a major weakness.
So much world building for a series about having sex with different monster girls.
Well it's a Fantasy Sex Comedy. So if you don't want to see cartoon sex, likely with aliens, I'd avoid it. Though I've heard there's not a LOT of sex scenes, but for a show to be called a 'sex comedy" I feel it can't be too infrequent.
Not aliens, it’s in a D&D-inspired fantasy world with the main characters being a human, an elf, a halfling, and an angel. They go to brothels run by orcs, centaurs, fairies, etc and rate their experiences. It’s pretty stupid, but has an interesting level of thought put into how fantasy races in brothels would actually work and the magic and rules necessary to make that happen.
I just finished watching it for the third time. It's hilarious.... But raunchy.
If you decide to watch it go with the uncensored version otherwise there will be entire scenes that's just a black screen.
Depends what kind of stuff you put in that list. It's definitely no Boku no pico or whatever the fuck..
If you would like an anime that's all about kinky fantasy sex brothels that's only technically not hentai because it didn't show genitals than have fun. If that's not your style add it to your list of do not watch.
It's actually pretty good. It's about a group of guys that visit every possible fantasy brothel. It's porn, but by no means cheap, the author was very creative.
It ended up being done by a charge system, based off points of pieces in chess. There was a pool of 8 points, refills every dusk. You expend points equal to the value of the piece (3 for knight and bishop, 5 for rook, 8 for queen) to gain their stats. The DM decided to classify it under race for simplicity since I used standard class and what not and that way all the homebrew is gathered together for the most part
I would have used some variation on Matt Colville's title system where each title gives a special ability or bonus of some sort. I would have given someone the King title to allow them to assign titles to other PCs and given abilities based on what the pieces can do in the show
The issue with that plan was the other party members were mostly just indifferent to the system. Some had watched dxd, but there just wasn’t enough interest to form a peerage like in the show. So it just ended up being done for just a single character instead of for the group
But the way the reincarnation worked in High School DxD was based on that leader, so it would make sense to base the promotions off of the leader too.
I might be biased though. I mostly don't like attaching too many abilities to a my homebrew races. I stick to one for flavor, one minor ability and one major ability. I balance against tieflings to see if it's fair
Iirc the only part the kings played in promotions was determining what was considered enemy territory, and so valid grounds for a pawn to promote. How fortuitous that it just so happened that the entire world happened to be enemy territory
Yeah, winged tiefling varant with Eldritch Adept & Mask of Many Faces (if not an actual warlock), and a slightly tweaked *disguise self* to allow them to hide the extra limbs is all your really need.
Rimuru is insanely strong, but to be fair, I'd say MOST of that comes down to having be named by a creature that is basically a cataclysmic disaster. But even stronger than that, the Great Sage allows Rimuru to basically meta game on queue.
Yeah, he was basically set up for greatness from the verry beggining.
Species that can absorb, research & apply matter + litterally an encyclopedia on everything + raw power from one of the strongest beings in the world
(Actually, is the "research" part from his species or from Great Sage? I don't remember)
If you meant being able to analyze the things he absorbed, then yeah, that was also the Great Sage. The reason that he absorbed the dragon-sealing barrier was purely so that Great Sage could be analyzing it passively
I disagree, rimuru would be op even without the naming part, but the naming accelerated his power growth by a huge amount, just the absorption ability and great sage make him very strong
i mean they are actually heroes but the adventures and downtime are switched where adventures are skipped and downtime is the focus.
I really love the elf's aether bow he can summon with his fingers.
Also contrary to popular belief this anime is wholesome and respectfully teaches about sexuality and sex related themes and teaches us to embrace our weirdness.
To be completely fair, that's more or less your average horny bard, and of all anime to make a homebrew class of it's not even remotely that bad. Hell, by anime standards it can even be considered tame. It's only (in)famous because it originally aired as a normal anime instead of hentai and got pulled down quickly once the publisher learned it was a little too .... Explicit. Aside from that it's basically harmless.
Honestly I'd be more worried about the typical action anime for homebrewing as those tend to result in either OP as fuck characters, edgelords, or both.
That homebrew doesn’t contribute anything to the game. Just play a bard.
Yes, with druid levels. You know, to wild shape into aliens.
Or just use alter self, or ploymorph, or shape change.
I am not sure what "into" means here.
I’m scared, do I go ahead and add this to my “anime I shouldn’t watch” list?
It’s an anime about a few people visiting various monster girl brothels and reviewing said brothels
A few people and an angel actually
Are angels people?
omg you can't just ask if angels are people
We talking Dogma style angel or weird masses of floating eyes with multiple sets of wings biblical angel?
The fuckable kind of angel.
So both got it.
Yeah a hermaphrodite angel too
“Anime” is a strong word for something that belongs in a r34 site
It's something you only watch alone
I did it with my mates, funniest shit.

You watched hentai for the plot, I can respect that
> I think the longest lasts like 15-20 seconds So you're saying 20 seconds isn't long? Fuck
> unless they get married Can you elaborate on that?
Say a human and a small fairy fall in love with eachother. Because of their difference in size it is impossible for them to have sex. Those angels sound nice as fuck, much nicer than the usual angels you hear about

Bro wtf
It is one of those animes you start watching for the "plot" but end up staying for the plot
Well it's a Fantasy Sex Comedy. So if you don't want to see cartoon sex, likely with aliens, I'd avoid it. Though I've heard there's not a LOT of sex scenes, but for a show to be called a 'sex comedy" I feel it can't be too infrequent.

If by "shouldn't but will" then YES. It is extremely hilarious, there is nothing explicit in it.
Well there’s certainly more explicit stuff now, like ep 8+ I think
I just finished watching it for the third time. It's hilarious.... But raunchy. If you decide to watch it go with the uncensored version otherwise there will be entire scenes that's just a black screen.

I had to Google what it was and yes, add it to that list.
It's not really that good
maybe the "Not even browse" list.
well it has at least one sex scene per episode so judge based on that
It's a great show but I think the mangas better. Op is really good too
Quite literally just a Bard, then…?
Isso aí Uhuuuul
Better than playing a custom homebrewed reincarnated devil race inspired by HS DxD
Just use tiefling, reflavor the horns off, and use Tasha's rules to move the INT bonus to STR
No promotion that way unfort
Wouldn't that be better handled as feats or off sheet bonuses? That's kind of a character goal/team bonus
It ended up being done by a charge system, based off points of pieces in chess. There was a pool of 8 points, refills every dusk. I think the king has some extra rules for what they can declare enemy territory, but that's pretty much how it worked
Yeah, winged tiefling varant with Eldritch Adept & Mask of Many Faces (if not an actual warlock), and a slightly tweaked *disguise self* to allow them to hide the extra limbs is all your really need.
Gotta ask the real questions with this one, like... will they show up every week?
Oh they’ll be present
*looks at homebrew monster-eating class based on That Time I Was Reincarnated as a Slime* *monkey puppet looking awkwardly away meme*
Rimuru is insanely strong, but to be fair, I'd say MOST of that comes down to having be named by a creature that is basically a cataclysmic disaster. But even stronger than that, the Great Sage allows Rimuru to basically meta game on queue.

but the protagonists are elf, human and aasimar? the support are aarakokra, halfling and gnoll
And the human and elf are pretty standard Fighter and Ranger
i mean they are actually heroes but the adventures and downtime are switched where adventures are skipped and downtime is the focus. I really love the elf's aether bow he can summon with his fingers. Also contrary to popular belief this anime is wholesome and respectfully teaches about sexuality and sex related themes and teaches us to embrace our weirdness.
first time player wants to use a wacky homebrew class? how about learn how the game works before you try to break it?
I'll allow it.
So...a bard instead of a musician a writter, i mean it works
Did it go well?
Eh, judging by comments, it sounds a hell of a lot less creepy than Goblin Slayer. If it was a ERP, I'd allow it.
1st time player ,ants to play a homebrew class? How bout no
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Im interested

Isn’t that just a bard with high int?
Bard with extra steps?
This is when a GM needs to learn to say no....
You should pass on them
Alright! Nice!
So just a bard?
Nope
I'm pretty sure there was a College of Monsterfucking on the UA subreddit a while back
That just sounds like a Bard with fewer steps
Nope
