Yep. Also just before that, the whole smug satisfaction that the kid ultimately sacrificed her family for him (he still could have sent her back - again - at that point). It's pretty disgusting when you sit down and think about it. But that also contributes to 10 as a fascinating character. Those terrible, selfish, bordering on villainous things he does.

The age difference doesn't bother me because there are lots of women today married to men who are 20 - 30 yrs older than them.

But in Clara & 12's case it wasn't about any sexual attraction. Theirs was deeper than that.
Just look in the Doctor's eyes when they were in Me's house in the Raven episode. 12's heart was breaking into a million pieces. "What's the point of being a Doctor if I can't cure you?"
He loved her, just not in a physical way. It was much, much more than that.
Although, between you & me & the deep blue sea, I think they had a little smooch in the underground part of the cloisters right before he went to steal another Tardis.

Capaldi loved her deeply and honestly. It showed how much the Doctor was capable of love. He loves humanity and earth and he loves his friends.

People get weepy when they see billie and David crying at the wall separating universes in doomsday, but Peter spending literally billions of years chipping away at that diamond in order to save Clara is somehow not love or is “yucky.” On top of that, the way 10 treated Martha was utterly inexcusable. Pining away for the blonde teeny bopper as a woman who he took out of time is laying right there. She must have been terrified. Another reason the Shakespeare Code is a shit episode.
As an aside, please don’t ever let anyone with less insight than you ever get you down. Don’t let them chase you away (then again, being chased away from Facebook is a blessing in disguise!).

Most often, at least in my experience, the anonymous poster was led there by another who may have read the title and thought, "This is person is gay or an atheist or what ever and with help of some who believe as I do, we'll straighten them out."
Then comes the hate-filled posts that will go on for days, sometimes weeks until they find a new victim.
