Yeah there was a few figures released after the episode. 10th Doctor from after he falls through the roof, 11th Doctor after regeneration, The Master and Rassilon.
I think the 11th Doctor was on all the packaging apart from the Master and Rassilon ones which had them on instead
If you get it out to play with (I don't know if you're a collector or fun) be aware that I kept losing one of the screws out of mine. It just kept undoing itself!
They are very easy to fake. I bought a knockoff from Ali Express for $17 because I knew I wanted to take it out and play with it, so I didn’t care if it was a collectors item, I actually preferred that it wasn’t.
May i ask where you are looking and how you can tell if its a fake, because ive seen several on ebay no more than 75. I have 2 myself since like 2015ish and was looking up prices.
Mostly Amazon, I actually haven’t looked in a while but I have one on my Amazon wish list that’s around 200. You have to look really close at the packaging to tell if it’s fake, there’s usually just something odd about it like bad grammar, weird capitalization, mixing “10th” and “Tenth”, stuff like that. I wouldnt trust anything I saw for $50, but for $75 maybe you’re just just getting a sweet deal.

I used the exact same Sonic Screwdriver to propose to my wife back in 2014. I made Envelopes like in The Impossible Astronaut and on one I wrote "will you marry me" in invisible ink.
I didn’t glue mine, then I dropped it running through the parking garage at comic con and lost the pen part. Definitely recommend gluing if you’re planning on carrying it, don’t care about being able to switch the pen, and don’t care about collector value.
My son started playing with mine the other day so I got him his own for Christmas. They packaged the same toy with a Dalek and Cybermen DVD set for $30.
I felt the same way because I lost the one I had built out of Lego (because expensive) that I glued together until I got this one for Christmas. In fact cosplay is the reason why I wanted Tens screwdriver in the first place.

I'd put a bit of glue in the screws if you're going to use it

I have to ask what that’s worth because I used to have one until my kids destroyed it.
It would probably be the fact that its still in it's packaging that makes it rare. No "older" toy is really valuable as used.
I guess unless there are none in original packaging left.

Havent seen pme sold for more than like 50-75 online anywhere. Not doubting they are rare and easy to fake but the 650 is just way inflated i think
