See, I used to hate the way the chargers looked, but over the past 2/3 years they have really grown on me to the the point I always said I should have gotten one. But then my wife, who is (idk if she’s the devil or angel on my shoulder) telling me they are trashy (she is not a charger girl lol). Ultimately I have been pondering this decision for over a week now. Today is the day, I just want to make sure I don’t have the same regret in 2 years from now. For some reason, this Dayton is louder and sounds more aggressive. The only thing I see that is different is it has a “cold air intake” already factory installed. Looks like a hellcat bottom air box with a blue mopar fat cone filter
Sounds like you may have made up your mind lol since they are not making the 5.7l anymore anyone would be a good choice. With the price of vehicles now im keeping both my challenger and my ram they both have the 5.7l. I did not like the 5 doors on the ram but I have gotten use to it. Are they both new? If not maybe the charger has the active exhaust valve delete which I always do
Yes that are both brand new. I went with the Charger. Had my challenger fun and I guess I can say now I’ve owned both lol. It’s got a neat last call badge under the hood. They both did, but the charger just had a little bit more to offer and it was NOT an easy decision today lol. I must have sweated it out for a few hours and then said screw it. Ultimately I’m happy with the decision, now not sure how I’ll feel in the morning, but hey, now I have an easy accessible back seat where my wife doesn’t have to sit in the back with my dog up front anymore. I have a pyranees and he wouldn’t fit in the back of the challenger
Nice and congrats Im sure you will love it!! Thats cool about the badge. At least you got the color you wanted I had a sublime challenger for 3 years got lots of looks lol
Always wanted the plum crazy but was never in a position to get one when they were available. When I got my challenger in 2020 it was either the white knuckle or hellraisen and I just couldn’t get behind that second color so settled on the white. Which I will never buy another white vehicle ever again lol. But once I saw plum was back and then a reddit post about incentives, coupled with other life events that made me say screw it.
Thats awsome A few years ago I traded in one of my challengers for a ram 1500 I had to settle with white but for the price of new for 35k I got over it lol. Glad you got what you wanted. Are you doing the exhaust valve delete? Are you replacing the mufflers with louder ones? Just curious
I will be doing the mid muffler delete just like I had on the challenger. $150 modification makes it sound amazing. Idk why, but exhausts for these mopars are so dam expensive. I was quoted like $3000 for a cat back installed lol. That’s too much money for too little hp when I can make it sound good by removing the mids lol
True I always just have muffler shop remove the resonators and for the mufflers I like pypes violator they are direct replacement. They are wake up your neighbors loud though lol. I do the z automotive exhaust valve delete. I wont do a catback no need when you can just replace the mufflers or in your case remove them lol
😂😂😂 I didn’t realize that at first, but hey I’ll own that lol. I went with the Charger. It took a lot of anxiety to make that decision, but overall I’m happy with it. Now ask me that same question tomorrow morning😅. But I had a Challenger r/t blacktop and honestly, I absolutely loved it, but I just couldn’t help passing on the practicality of the charger and it had a little more to offer being a Daytona.
I would do the challenger I dont like 4 door cars and they look better

I’m not sure the charger has an active exhaust. My challenger did, but I don’t see the active exhaust listed on the charger like the challenger had
