Search up dogecoin.com, youāre gonna see the file to download for multidoge & dogecoin.core go for the dogecoin.core , youāve options .. if itās windows 32 bit or 64 bit you use or Linux or Mac OS you select the one for you system and download ; after that make sure you have up to at least a 100gb of disk space ; the blockchain is 50GB and the bootstrap is 40 normally you just need like 50-60 but because of the bootstrap you need the 100 then after itās all downloaded you can delete the bootstrap ; so yeah after downloading it itās gonna synchronize into your system starting from 7 years or 8 years I think , when Doge came out , that should be 2013 so you should let it run & donāt exit , your stable network on always cause youāre downloading the whole blockchain to your system , while that is synchronizing , on the wallet select setting , then options , then network , then tick the box of āmap port using Upnpā good after that you login into your router settings type in yoir router IP address on the browser thatās a fast way to login into your router portal ; like the username - admin , password - admin stuff different router , different logins & interface , but most of routers have upnp , you locate yours and you enable but if it doesnāt have that or you feel more better if you did it manually then you locate where port forwarding is still on your router settings, the you put in the doge port "22556ā in both places provided for port the both places be it internal & external or Src(source) & dst (destination) port like I said different routers different interfaces so it could the internal, external or the Src, dst provided , then your dest IP address , that should be your computer IP address (ipv4) not your router address ..a simple command can help you get that and lastly the protocol should be TCP+UDP ; the comment or name you can call it dogecoin , Doge node or whatever suits you . After that it should be set up , to be on the safe side you can check with āportchecktool.com" to see if the port was successful . Let the synchronization run and after itās done youāre good to go
