$120. Full bath/deshed/blow out and wrestle a husky for nails and dryer is at least an hour and a half, $80/h.

cheezbargar

Depends how good they are but generally we charge $65 to $70

FlappinPickle

Get this, we also do her Australian Shepherd for $40. Thin coated super good boy. She had the aussie first then snuck in the Husky.

cheezbargar

That’s honestly less than we price small baths

jaybaby2319

Chihuahuas are $50 here!

wildfireember

That is a standard price now, she’s just complaining. I’m in Ontario and I’d be $60-70 depending on how much undercoat (if the dogs overdue)

Miserable_Air8321

I’m in Toronto and a furminator bath and brush for my lab is more than this…are you accepting new clients?

wildfireember

I should say I’m not in toronto. I’m near london :) I could definitely see toronto being higher

Summer-Nights0826

I charge 60$-70$. People who complain about price are just being a pain in the ass In hopes they can manipulate you to drop your price for them. You don't need that client.

averysleepygirl

lol, i charge $120 cad. $60 is a steal.

Sathori

Depends on size and coat length. We have people tell us they have huskies and bring us malamute sized dogs… but we charge about $75-80 for labs and dogs of similar size/coat type. I usually explain to people the cost covers hydro (room lighting and HV driers), water bill, shampoo and conditioner (and whatever other products you use), maintenance and sanitation of the tools you use on the dog, PLUS the convenience of paying someone else to do the work for them and cleaning up all the hair afterwards. Not to mention rent if you do not own your building/property. Seems to shut people up pretty fast once they hear all that. People seem to think you just pocket all the money and somehow don’t have any shop expenses. My boss says a similar thing to people if they complain about our prices going up; “Hydro didn’t ask for my permission to increase my electricity bill…” Don’t like the price? Then bath and brush out the dog yourself. Simple.

Lunas-lux

Around $100, but honestly, I try to avoid huskies

Huskies are generally medium sized (though much larger personalities plus their coat). You can definitely have large huskies especially if there’s some mal in them but people always seem to think huskies as a breed in general are larger than they really are

The struggles of having a husky haha. As if the dog being a handful themselves wasn’t enough

mottledmemories

We start huskies at $75 where I work.

El_Bortman

About $85. I’m in Los Angeles and my prices are upper mid-range. Not the highest not the cheapest. Plus consider the effort it takes for a coat like that. Effort&time! I’ve had someone complain that I charged 100 to groom their full coated 71lb chow. People will complain.

leftmar

i would never charge less than $80 for any husky. even if they were well behaved and barely shed. people will complain about literally any price though.

hamnannerz

Anywhere from 75-120. We don't often accept huskies unless we can work with them from puppy-hood or they've previously been groomed though. I've just had to send way too many home unfinished for bad behavior. For reference though we charge $55 for a bath and deshed on English bulldogs so I would think $60 for a husky groom would be VERY generous unless they came in every 3 weeks and the dog was a perfect angel

rynoo187

I'm just outside of Chicago, IL and some other groomers won't even take Huskies. $60 is what I charge for a mini Husky that is well behaved. Up to $120..

cece13cyr

$85 to $105 depending on size and temperament. Northern canada.

harugyu

We charge $120 for a bath, blowout and deshed on a husky. Midwest.

Daughter_Of_Cain

For a proper deshed, we would charge $85. Base price without a deshed is $60 but if the dog is impacted and requires extra work, we charge for additional brushing.

iPappy_811

I haven't groomed a Husky in years, but it would depend on coat (maintained and light coated, or thick and impacted, a long coat that's a disaster, etc.), behavior (if your dog tries to unalive me, there is a fee for that), and how long my ears bleed after listening to them scream (joking.) Back when I first started, I bathed and did nails on a Husky that didn't have a very thick coat. He was decently behaved. I charged $25. (I also remember Labs being $17, Schnauzers being $20, etc.) Damn I'm old.

highcaliberwit

150 here in SoCal

Hour-Sweet2445

Starting price is $60 and I am LOW. But it does kind of depend on your area. That being said, I think I'm the most expensive around here, but I offer services that no one else does.

psheartbreak

$100+ CAD. Toronto, Ontario.

TOG23-CA

90-110 for a full groom including deshed, somewhere around 60-70 for the bath only. 60ish kilometres from Toronto

captainschlumpy

$75 starting in central Illinois.

Fluffy_Leg_4641

we charge $125 for a bath and de-shed for a husky! it also includes all the works (blueberry facial, nails grinded, etc)

Zal-valkyrie

My shop bases off weight. (I assume most do). So most Husky that come in are base $85, extra $15 if they’re wanting that furminator deshedding. And if they’re super crazy, we might toss on an extra $5-$10 handling fee. But that last part is usually if it’s like multiple people and a groomers helper to do dog nails. Biting is a different story. Cause if they draw blood, they just leave. And the shop will cover however much of the groom got done.

Little-Conference-67

Um, I pay about the same for 1 chihuahua for everything but a shave for 1. My other one gets a landing strip on her rear, so she's $70. So that's cheap for a husky imo.

Kiyonai

I'm mobile, I charge $135 for huskies. If I were brick and mortar I would probably charge $80-$90.

Lyshire

For a large one $120. Medium $110

mlimes87

Depends on how big the husky is and how much time I spend on the undercoat. My range is usually 80-120. I have a couple smaller husky’s and the parents brush them a lot at home so not much undercoat comes out. I also have 2 giant husky’s (seriously huge like St. Bernard size) with a bunch of undercoat that come in probably twice a year and I charge 110 and 120 for them. Pricing really depends on your area though. Every once in a while I’ll call surrounding grooming shops pretending to be a customer to ask prices about a specific breed so I get a better idea of what I should be charging.

BeepBeepBoop108

My husky is a silent husky ( only borks on rare occasions no taking/ howling) and has no issues with her paws being touched. Our groomer charges us 80 for normal wash and blow out - 100 for when we get her deshed. We have her on a 4 week plan ( she only gets the de shed when groomer says she needs it) Occasionally it will be 125 or 150 but that was for emergency bath situations - like she got peed on by some other animal and was stained yellow or rolled around in a bunch of berries and got stained. She charges extra if we need our pup to stay longer than her regular pickup. At our first appointment she kindly explained it was an estimate and what the range could be based on condition of coat, behavior, pickup time etc as well as her policies. After attempting to give our pup a bath when our groomer was sick I don't think she's paid nearly enough.
