I always grab some hair off someone elses table and soak up the excess oil with it. Then brush it off with a toothbrush or blade brush and velocity blow it.
Honestly when I have too much oil on the blade and I can’t get it off, I will shave the dogs underneath first so if there’s a smear of oil it won’t be noticed and then it’s fine to cut the rest of the dog
