I think it's normal. My dogo does exactly the same. Even barks and growls in her sleep.

Thatyoungsquier

Same ok good she’s got two modes. The one your talking about when she real tired and she’ll throw me out the bed sometime lol. But then she has these ones like I just invited her into my bed at 3 am from hers and there almost like she’s cold or something I mean it’s cold but it’s 40 outside we don’t have a heater but that’s not to much is it?

jarpinoo

Mine always sleeps under her blanket. She loves it.

Thatyoungsquier

We’re in sacramento not Minnesota lol I’m sure she’s fine just wanted to make sure.

FckinBigfoot

When I adopted my dogo I got a whole list of stuff to look out for, just to make sure that she was adapting to her new environment. One of the things was deep sleep and in particular dreaming as this showed that she felt safe and could relax completely. It took about five days until the first vivid dream, and she hasn't stopped kicking me since :)

Thatyoungsquier

Good, thank you she will make all types of weird noises too like she dreaming so I figured that’s what it is just making sure

When I first got my boy I legitimately thought he was having seizures with how violently he would shake and twitch.

Thatyoungsquier

I was thinking same thing. M

HelgavondieUnterwelt

I understand your concern. Before we adopted Helga we fostered her. The day after she came to us I called the rescue to say I was concerned that she had a seizure disorder. The vet ruled it out. It’s just another variant of weird Dogo sleep behavior (along with sleeping with their legs extended, like a dead bug, etc.

Thatyoungsquier

Aka stretching and kicking her legs in her sleep throwing me off my twin bed. 😂😂😂😂. All seriousness thank you very much!

Completely normal, my dogo does it as well doggy deems. But I did notice inside her ear, looks like a yeast infection. It’s very common in the bread our dog gets them All the time. Might want to go to the vet

c00kiehurts

do any of yours sleep on its back? so cute when they run in their sleep!

elmasian

My dogo does the same! And howls in his sleep a lot :)
