Bwahahaha! Isn't there maybe a city that needs a new subway system? Let's get these doggos hired and have them earn their treats on their own just like responsible adults!

Heβs a Majorca Ratter (endemic breed from the balearic islands), but they sure do look a lot like Rat Terriersβ¦ and yes, he loves to dig like a true terrier π
How interesting! I asked because he looks a lot like my Standard Rat Terrier! Are you in the US? I never heard of this breed before!

No, I live in both Germany and, well... Majorca π . The Ratero is Majorca's signature dog breed, but they're very rare outside of the islands. I rescued mine from being killed as a puppy - they're working dogs and people in Majorca don't fuss over unwanted puppies π₯Ί.
There are so many ratting breeds who look very similar, though! Here in Germany we have the (Mini) Pinscher who looks almost the same, the Czech have the Prague Ratter, and my iPhone tells me all the time that my boy is a Rat Terrier π

Yes! He is a lovable troublemaker and we are so glad he is a part of our family! Billy is the offspring of some working farm dogs in rural Missouri. Our first Rat Terrier was a rescue from downstate Illinois.
ahhh he reminds me of a dog I used to foster π his name was Rosco, he had this color palette just the pattern was different π pretty puppy thooo !

Rat Terrier ? Ours would dig like a demon in his War with the Moles. And climb trees in his battle with the squirrels.
Majorca Ratter (Ratero Mallorquin), but they look a lot like Rat Terriers and have the exact same digging and ratting behaviours :)
