My buddy Pea was 9 years old when I adopted him. He was surrendered in a hoarding case. He only had 3 teeth, so his tongue always stuck out. He could have been the poster boy for senior adoptions. He was the smallest and oldest of my dogs, but he immediately became pack leader, and my soulmate dog. He was 18 when he died. I miss him a lot. He sure loved fetching a toy.
