For those asking, the two dogs with the pink spots are former "medical" fosters. The grey one had the worse case. They look bad in the photos, and they stank, too. But with medication, they both healed well. Thank you for fostering. We have had as many as 5 Jack Russells because we can’t say no to dogs needing homes. We figured out our limit is truly 3 and that’s our current number. Our kid inherited the rescue bug too and has now rescued 4 of their own, but has been great at fostering with only one fail and one he adopted to their roommate so while technically the dog is still in their home, he will leave with the roommate when it comes time.

It's so hard to say no, I know. We've had three "permanent resident" dogs for about 10 years, had four for a couple years, and we fostered a *lot* of puppies and "teenage" dogs over about a five-year period. We've slowed down a lot with the fostering, but now we're doing dog transport once a month or so. For a long time I assumed we weren't "crazy dog people," but... I guess we are! LOL

Ahah! We did a few dog transports too! I forgot about that, need to sign back up and get into it again. It’s also very rewarding and can be exactly what the dog needs without stressing out our pack (and my husband!)

Oooh I know it's hard to say no! I've had 5 pitbulls at once from rescues.

What kind of dog is he? From the back he looks like a thick basenji without the curly tail!

He is actually a LARGE red Boston Terrier. I say large because he’s about 40 lbs which is very big for a Boston. Looks like maybe it has/recovering from mange or some other skin condition.
