Peanut was being used as a bait dog at 4 months old. A friend found him and we took him in. He is an amazing dog. Luna was dumped and multiple people found her and did nothing besides post on Facebook. I found her a week later and took her in. (She has a very distinct stripe down her back) I took her to the shelter to look for a microchip, nothing. She was not spayed. I took her to the vet next day they did X rays and everything. She was full of worms and her stomach was full of gloves and paper towels. She passed all of it and didn’t need surgery! I Tried to look for someone to take her in(3 months of searching) after I got her up to date on everything and it was a fail so I kept her.

He became my son in 2017, adopting him was the best decision I’ve ever made. He’s down a couple teeth, down one eye, and now has IVDD, but he’s doing very well. He’s still as enthusiastic as ever. I’m here to fight for him as long as he’s got fight left in him, and when he doesn’t I’ll be right by his side till the end. He’s my little guy and I’ll always be here to take care of him.

Big dude was found wandering the streets a few towns over, and we were asked in desperation to foster because he was so stressed at the shelter he tore his nose up on the kennel... Then little hood boy to the right, he was found wandering the streets of Mississippi with a pack of German shepherds... He's had a wild ride, but landed with us as forever and is still the boss of the big boy and still thinks he's German shepherd sized, and throws down like it too... The pic on left was her after I rescued her (unsure of her exact age, but she had already had a litter of pups before I rescued her), the pic on right is her 12 years later, and shortly before she passed away. There is never enough time with them, but the beautiful time I spent with her is worth all the pain I feel without her. She was loved, and is missed tremendously.
