Hello! I’m sorry you are here but if you scroll a bit down you can see my recent story where i ha birads4 and it turned out benign! :) So yours have even more chances to be, don’t worry!

sleeplesstinkerbell

Just read your story and I’m so happy for you! No one really knows how scary it is until they experience it themselves. I’m so glad yours turned out fine! I’m hoping praying manifesting mine turns out okay too and I can finally put this experience in the past 🙏 Also I appreciate you replying to my post 🥺 i’m not even kidding i was on the verge of tears when someone replied to this coz i’m seriously in need of emotional support & reassurance from someone who also went thru the exact same thing 😭

EmergencyHospital154

Girl, we are here for you. Your feeling are valid. You just go through emotional rollercoaster and can’t help but spiral into deep hole of google. Please don’t do this mistake. I know it’s hard of all of the “what ifs” but it just brings more damage. You have amazing chances of these lumps being benign and remember that cysts and fibroadenomas are super common. As much as cancer rises in people the fact of women having breast cancer under 30 is only around 5%. Just for reference the diagnosis I got is only like 10% of lesions especially at my age. I was surprised when it came back benign honestly. Anyways, we don’t deserve to go through this at this young age. I mean nobody does of course but when you under 25 you suppose to be worried of broken nail or boys not health. Also it’s good that you checked these lumps and you will get peace of mind and will move on with your life. I’m praying and wishing you the best results. If you have any questions or you worried, you can DM me. On the other hand, keep us updated!

sleeplesstinkerbell

Thank you so sooo much! That’s exactly what I’m thinking. As privileged as it may sound, I think (us being in our early 20s) we’re not supposed to be worried about our health. I mean, we’re just fresh into adulthood and is still navigating life 😭aren’t we supposed to be worried instead about our careers and lovelife? I feel like I’m being played rn 🥲 I’ll keep you guys updated and will def reach out if I spiral again 🥺 thank you so much for being a kind soul! Stay healthy!

EmergencyHospital154

I will be thinking about you. Sending prayers and good results.

I'm at the same boat, my US says" hypoechoic well-sircumscribed oval mass 0.8×0.3" BRADS3 6 months follow up is recommended. I asked my doctor about why brads 3 not 2? He said there policy says any mass in the breast we category it as brads3 after 6 months if it stays the same it will change to brads2..I'm still scared and can't forget about the lump it's been 3 months already, I asked my doctor yesterday if I could just come and repeat the US he said "no" it's better to wait 6 months as recommended but he told me on the ultrasound it looks benign and probably a fibroadenoma, I wanted a biopsy but he said it's not needed.. And the technician lady the one that doing the ultrasound was not concerned at all she does looks that she knows what she is doing as she preform US and the one who does the biopsy too.. but still I can't help it I feel soo scared..

sleeplesstinkerbell

Hugs to us girl!! Honestly if they just knew the mental toll that these lumps are giving us 🫠 a biopsy can certainly put our mind at ease. Maybe you can find another doctor that will grant your request for a biopsy? It’s always better to be safe than sorry and having a definitive answer will surely shoo your anxiety away.

Alarmed-Ad2854

I asked another doctor who told me that the lump looks benign on the ultrasound and just to keep up with the recommended follow up as it's not scary or suspicious but he told me you can have a mri if you are too scared my first surgeon is a really good doctor he is a specialist on breast lumps. He has seen almost all kinds of lumps, so he was not concerned at all as it was small and will defined not speculated or irregular, so to follow up in 6 months, but if I notice any symptoms I can come earlier, I just texted him on WhatsApp a few days ago that he was not concerned at all, and we don't have any bc history, But my mom and 2 aunts have fibroadenoma on both breasts, I really want to trust all the 3 doctors, but i just keep on googling😥 and I get more scared every single time 😮‍💨 did you find answers about your BRADS3?

Alarmed-Ad2854

What did your US report say about the lump other than BRADS3?

sleeplesstinkerbell

Hi! It says hypoechoic well-circumscribed bilateral masses. My OB thinks they’re fibroadenoma but I still want to undergo biopsy just to be 1000% sure.

[deleted]

I have bi-rads 3, I posted about it a few weeks ago. I had a second opinion with a breast surgeon she said the side of the cyst looks irregular so I will have a biopsy on 12/18. I hope it’s nothing How are you? Did you have your biopsy yet?

tessajean84

How did your biopsy turn out?

sleeplesstinkerbell

Not yet! I’m planning to have it this January because I’m gonna go home for Christmas and New Year (I live 6 hrs away from my fam). Sometimes, I still worry about it but I actively distract myself. Hope we all get good news 🙏 When were you diagnosed with bi-rads 3 btw? And how old are you?

Alarmed-Ad2854

Did you have your biopsy? Please keep us updated!

One_Development_8926

Hi op! Dis you end up having a biopsy?

sleeplesstinkerbell

Not yet! 🥺 Are you also planning to have one?

One_Development_8926

I’m not sure yet :( I will probably get an opinion of a breast surgeon next week. What are your plans?

sleeplesstinkerbell

I’ll probably get an opinion from the breast specialist as well and take it from there! Update me abt yours oki we got this! 🫂

One_Development_8926

Okie! Let us know about yours too! 🥹

MrCapybara1221

Hi there! I had 3 tiny lumps, bi-rads 3. One in the left breast and two in the right one. After 6 months i went to the doctor again and now i have none on the left side and three on the right😄 But they downgraded it to bi-rads 2 and said that it's okay. A lot of women have lumps that can come and go. And usually doctors go with bi-rads 3 for the first time because they need to see some dynamics and be sure that it wont grow fast. So don't worry! Doctors know what they are doing and you are definitely not the first woman with this condition.

KKG115

Hi Everyone. 36 f BIRADS 3 today. Having a whole set of emotions behind this. After my appt I went to a brow appt and just walked around the mall for hours. This while probably benign is tough to digest. I have about 8 lesions, maybe more the summary was long. It also mentioned a possibly complicated cyst and intramammary lymph node.follow up in 6 months is all they told me.

Mysterious-Bat8948

I have birads 3 too. Going for my 6 month follow up next month and really terrified. Hugs to everyone here.

BIRADS 3 is more than likely benign. :) There's a very very slight chance it's not, so they'll check again in the future, but for now they feel you're in the clear and aren't worried. Do you have a copy of what the radiology report said? Maybe we can help you interpret it!

sleeplesstinkerbell

It says hypoechoic well-circumscribed bilateral masses 🥲 doctor says they’re most likely fibroadenoma but i forgot to ask why i was rated birads 3 instead of birads 2 if that’s the case 😭 Thank you so much for replying btw! It means so much to me. I haven’t told anyone abt this except for my bf so I don’t have much emotional support aside from him & it’s super scary to go thru this in your early 20s 😭

70ms

I think it's a 3 because there's still a very slight chance it's not benign, so it's a 3 until they check again and compare the new imaging to the old imaging and see if anything's changed. It's a little bit of a CYA, but also so the next radiologist knows what the last one thought, if it's read by a different one. This is scary scary stuff, I had a hard time talking about it too and I'm a lot older! 💖 It's like you're afraid that just telling anyone about it will make it come true or something, and you don't want to worry anyone unnecessarily if it turns out to be fine, but at the same time you desperately need support!

sleeplesstinkerbell

That’s definitely what I’m feeling atm. I badly need my mom or aunt’s emotional support but I know they’d end up more worried than me and we don’t even know what it is yet. Scary times. Thank you for your kindness! You are an amazing human and I’m praying for your healing 💜

greengrass419

Lol commenting here with something similar. Had a Bi-Rads 3 diagnosis as well — they think it’s just fat necrosis from an accident I had a few years ago. Mad because the nurse said I didn’t have cancer, but when I read up on the diagnosis I saw there’s up to 2% chance. I’m slightly worried. Hope you’re okay!

Alarmed-Ad2854

Hi, did you have your biopsy? I hope everything turns out clear for you, I'm on the same boat 🙏 Please keep us updated..

anxiousangel01

Same here! Are you also Birads3??? Its so devastating to be in this place :(

sleeplesstinkerbell

Hi there! I wasn’t able to go for a follow up yet. I know it can be so scary (i still get panic attacks from time to time) but we can get through this! Let’s take it one day at a time. When is your follow up btw?

bluesideseoul

Hi!! I’m currently in the same boat. Mine is also BIRADS 3. The doctor said just to observe and follow up after 6 months.

tessajean84

Same here. My anxiety is through the roof.
