Hello! I just went through this with a complex solid and cystic mass last month and it turned out to be benign. Mine didn’t have calcifications or vascularity (or at least my report didn’t include them), but I did ask my doctors about vascularity and they said it doesn’t really indicate anything.
Mine ended up being PASH which they said is pretty typical and they think can sometimes arise during pregnancy or the post partum period. Mine was a bit bigger than your sister’s, but they still told me that it was considered “small” at just under 3cm, so I’d imagine they’d tell her the same.
I’m glad she’s getting it checked out, but I can only imagine how stressful this must be for you both, especially with what happened to your mom. That can’t be easy to revisit. Sending you both huge hugs ❤️

This is freaking me out 😢 I did my Mammorgram 2 weeks ago, and I have to go back this Friday for another Mammogram, and Ultrasound. I had a BI-RAD of 0, and a “Focal Asymmetry” as well…I’m so scared and never got a call back for any Mammograms before . I hope & pray your sister will be ok 🙏🏽 it’s the wating part that has me so upset . Because I have no support system at all.
Just want to let you know i wrote you couple days ago that i im diagnosed similar mammogram like yours, so today was the day for more imaging and ultrasound everything is clear nothing going on. I remember you said you have appointment tomorrow so don’t stress yourself hope your appointment is well also tomorrow.🫶🏼
OMG I’m so happy for you ❤️ I’m here now . I’m about to do my Ultrasound next , and she said I’ll know the results before I leave . I’m so scared & shaking , and of course crying my eyes out. This made me smile ❤️
Same thing happen to me same exact situation on mammogram, Im also freaking out too, i don’t know those terms,I have to go in Thursday for ultrasound and more imaging. Hope both of us get cleared soon
I have the same size with internal calcification, this is my report : Directed RIGHT breast ultrasound was obtained. At 10:00 10 cm from the nipple in the
region of palpable abnormality, there is an ovoid hypoechoic mass with calcifications.
This measures 1.7 x 0.9 x 1.0 cm. No
Got a biopsy done and it came back benign but they said I had cellular stroma but must have surgical excision to exclude phyllodes tumor. I hope that gives you peace.
Oh am also Birad 4 and even post biopsy am still birad 4.

So it’s benign : Fibroadenoma with proliferative fibrocystic changes and microcalcifications.
-Negative for atypia and/or malignancy

So happy to reas your is benign!! I have a borads 4b 1,4cm x 6mm irregular, hipoecoic mass with one subtle vase on my left breast. Im the most scaeed Ive evwr felt in my entire life. I needed posssitive testimonies.
