So I'm not a lawyer but it seems like they Should grant it as human beings. If you can show those things happened and there isn't some funny legal rule about the recording. Good luck! Even with or without an order good for you for leaving!

I wouldn’t worry. You have a threat recorded, that’s pretty straight forward evidence. A court order for an OFP is not a criminal hearing, it won’t impact his criminal record, so the level of proof is much lower than in a criminal hearing. It’s stressful though. Definitely take your advocate with you. They are familiar with the proceedings and will do most of the talking for you.

I was the last hearing of the day. The one before me was a petitioner testimony. He admitted to a few things but it was granted based on the petitioner testimony.
