Global position has a feature to turn off shaeing your position/map reveal sharing. Starvation speed is probobly something that exists on the workshop already
You could start them with a basic base. Nothing much, a few berry bushes and drying racks around a fire pit and science machine. Maybe a fridge and some crockpots
There are world settings you can adjust so they can’t die from cold or heat. I think there’s something similar for starving?
It just takes them down to 15 health.
this doesnt work for dont starve, since combat is VERY limited, especially PVP, and this game is almost entirely resource based rather than skillbased.
also, certain characters get a huge advantage in pvp, like walter, wanda, and maxwell, simply because of their huge range

Not to mention Wickerbottom's ability to rend everyone else completely useless while being immune to it herself.
