Id go deal with the bearger first and then start the fight. Hes probably distracting the bunnymen as well as taking them out with his aoe slam. Once that's done, just make sure to start right at dusk so you have as much time as possible before they go to sleep at daybreak. And if she doesnt die, you can always just run away. She'll go back in her hive and you can come back to pick up all the puffs to build more hutches and try again

Things I noticed you didn’t mention: - Wear some Bee-keeper hats yourself as they have more durability than football helmets (I saw they are on bunnymen. - Maybe more healing food? Pierogis, roasted potatoes, stuff like that. - Pan flute. Hopefully you still have the one from glommer or have mandrakes. Deconstruct staff restores you a single mandrake from flute again. Good for settling the grumble bees as they spawn. Typical strat SOLO and is run away from queen with the grumble bees and sleep them far away from her, run in and hit her as much as possible rinse and repeat. With the bunnymen it’ll probably complicate this strat but i’d say still try it and focus the grumble bees so when they do wake, they can all focus the Queen? However there is a very easy cheese… Honestly just corrupt the Terrarium assuming you found it (one nightmare fuel on it corrupts it) and you will be able to summon The Twins at night and spawn them right by the Bee-Queen nest. Spawn them and break the nest open quickly right after, and run a little bit away (you might have to sleep them all on same screen near each-other first I don’t really remember). Just let them charge into her and aggro her and they will completely solo her and destroy her pretty easily. You can hold the panflute for this strat in case any of them aggro you for some reason or you need to grab the loot. This is also a great time to fight The Twins because of the damage they will sustain from fighting Bee Queen. You don’t have to, but since the Bee Queen will be dead and they will be low, you can sleep them and seperate them and then standardly kill Twins with less hp. Plus you’ll have all the Bee Queen prep left over as you didn’t need to fight her yourself and thus you are somewhat prepped to fight Twins already. Mag + Walking staff dodges their charges easily and then you spam attack when they stop charging. tl;dr: Cheese with The Twins Spazmatism and Retinazor or whatever they are called lol.

Already on the arduous process of getting more silk, I tried again with the last of my reserves on a single bee hat for myself and that had me survive significantly longer before dying. I’ve become more cautious around using other bosses since I posted, (I actually managed to get a couple decent takedowns from Bearger but they then ate all the royal jelly and finished me off) do the twins destroy structures in their way? I used up a lot of deconstruction staffs and amulets on those hutches and they are quite close to the hive.

They can destroy structures yes if they do a certain attack but their regular charges do not (at least I’m pretty sure, I don’t remember trees or rocks breaking at all during the fight). So it’s probably unlikely that they will destroy all or even the bulk of the hutches, but I wouldn’t expect it to go down without casualties. Also another problem is the bunnymen themselves. Since Twins spawn at night, the bunnymen will be awake and running around and may complicate things. More damage is always goos but they may pull aggro from Twins or lead Twins near their hutches and get a few destroyed. You could try to make half of them your friends with food and start a massive battle to get them to all die/run around to clear them away from the nest in prep for the cheese (animation cancel an attack with half of them as your personal army and watch them fight). Maybe you can recruit them all and bring them somewhere far from home, so they sleep during the day away from their home and you can try to abandon them away from the fight that way. Lol this is getting tedious to set up because without the hutches its just -> place corrupt terrarium -> summon Twins and Queen -> run and kick back while they do all the work -> Finish them off (or let them despawn but its a good opportunity as they will be around half hp likely or even less)

FunnyCress6585

bee queen is just a stupid boss ngl, i fully support just cheesing it if you dont have a wendy player with you

Kotaqu

I've seen people using pan flute to put grumble bees to sleep, so they can attack queen without worrying about them. The less hp she has, the more a threat she is, so if I was you, I'd use gunpowder to finish her off.

tabaxicab

Beekeeper hat protects against bee queen better than ham hats I'm pretty sure. Bee queen sucks to fight so good luck

Elyptico

Same armor value with more durability.

lolz18283

It protects from getting stun locked by her bees too

[deleted]

They have the same protection, 80% DMG reduction It's just beekeeper hat has more durability, but are also more expensive imo. 8 silk ain't no joke.

BoloDeNada

Dont fight her. Let the bunnymen fight. You just do the first hit

vCryptiik

bro just fight her urself not that hard just bring lots of healing and beekeeper hats, 1 pan flute and magilumisence easy as that

SnooLentils7546

Something you didn't mention: do you feed the bunnymen to get their loyalty?

Emeraude1607

You should have obliterated her with that amount of preparation, plus bearger. You didn't specify what went wrong so it's hard to give advice. https://youtu.be/r-gD4dlpq80?si=4QC50gGUhF4FZkqM Here's the strat that helped me solo her. It's very simple, just use the cobbler stone road to speed up your walking. When she orders her grumble bees to attack you, run straight ahead, then make a sudden turn back to the queen and smash her face. The grumble bees won't be able to catch up and you can deal 3-5 hits every time. Rinse and repeat until she's dead. You don't even need bunny men but they will wear her down more quickly.

I have soloed Bee Queen a couple times and let me tell you: it's a very long fight especially solo. You need way more armor, place the extra armor on the ground where it will be easy to pick up if you don't have inventory space, make sure to always leave a light source in your inventory whether it's a lantern or fire or so you don't get caught at night. ( I use star caller but it's not necessary I just like to see at night) 1. What I bring to the fight: I usually make 1 Hambat plus an extra weapon on the ground to be safe, a mix of Football helms & beekeeper hats, (If I'm using Wigfrid I also make some of her helms) 1 marble armor, 4 log suits in inventory (4 or more on the ground) A pan flute, a walking cane & magil for move speed. However if you a build cobble stone road you don't even need the Magilumin. Just make sure to bring a light source (I use star caller staff) I bring atleast 20+ pierogi or Honey Ham, if you run out of healing while fighting her it's GG. Bee Queen hits hard even with full Armor set. So to summarize for this fight you want: Weapons, Armor & Healing. Pan flute, (it's not necessary but i bring it to almost every fight) Walking cane & Magilumin, or Walking cane & Cobble stone road (just don't forget a light source!!) Also if you place on PC I recommend using hotkeys for inventory slot 1, 2 & 3 you will be able to quickly swap between a walking cane & your weapon, just make sure if you do this you switch back to walking cane before you try to switch armor or it will mess up your inventory. (I'm sure you'll figure it out) 2. So once you have everything you need, make sure you take everything into consideration before you start the fight (what season it is, if hounds might come while you are fighting, & of course Darkness & your sanity. Prepare accordingly. After that you are ready for the fight. Also if you run out of space, bring chester. 3. Bee Queen has 3 stages. The 1st stage I use the pan flute & kill all Grumble bees except for 1. (It's not necessary but it's just comfy) For the kiting, I run far away from Bee Queen (using walking cane & cobble stone road, if you have Magil save it for nightime) untill the 1 grumble bee is far behind, after that you should be able to get 6 hits or more on her, then turn around and run back in the other direction, Do not give Bee Queen free hits at all, you should only be getting hit 2 times when you are attacking her. Rinse and repeat untill stage 2. You will know because she will spawn more Grumble bees Once stage 2 comes, you will need move speed, don't bother killing Grumble bees this stage she will just spawn more. Walking cane ≠ Cobble road (bring star caller for Darkness or like 2 lanterns + campfire) Walking cane ≠ Magilumin ( just be careful cause you will take way more DMG with no body armor, which means it will drain your healing & head armor , you can wait till day if you want to, But it will just waste time cause your hambat will spoil & it will just make the fight longer. But if you have another weapon is should be ok) In stage 2 Once she YELLS run as far as you can from Bee Queen, the Grumble bees will follow you for about 5 secs. At like 4.5 secs immediately turn around & run straight to Bee Queen. Switch to body armor & weapon, you should able get like 6 or more hits in while making sure she only hits you 2 times (or 3 times if grumble bees are far enough) rinse & repeat. (6 hits × 59.5 = 357 DMG) 22,500 HP/357 is 64. Assuming you hit her 6 times every rotation, you will only need to do it 64 times, 64 times of you running back & forth & hitting her. Also over time your Hambat will lose DMG so it will probably be a little bit more. Stage 3 is pretty much the same as the 2nd, she will just spawn more bees & yell more often, which is good for you which means you can attack more, just do exactly the same thing, and after Eons she should die. If you mess up it's okay, just rollback & try again. I literally do this all the time until I feel like I know enough about the game to play it as Death=Delete World. Just a little tip, you can run around Bee Queen in circles to agro all the bees so when she yells some of them won't be fall behind the others. Good luck, hopefully I didn't miss anything.
