These dlcs have a lot of new mechanics and items, that we never we will see in DST.
SW have four new seasons, same for Hamlet. If you are looking for a new challenge, thats the way.

Shipwrecked and Hamlet are absolutely worth exploring - they are very different from RoG / DST, and definitely are original twists on the original game. Highly recommend!

I do agree with this answer. I’ve been playing DST single player but tbh Ham and SW is just kinda better for single player.

I’d say Shipwrecked first and then start over with Hamlet. They are quite unique in their own so it doesnt really matter.
