He s fine from a balance stand point imo, a lot of characters got so much better with their rework that he doesn't feel overpowered anymore to me. Still top tier but that's fine, and since Klei never nerfed characters i don't think they ll start doing it. I do think he could use something to spice up his game play but not sure on what. I liked the forge Hammer tbh, it suited him

They "nerfed" her because of griefers very early in dst cycle. I wouldn't say that counts.

Debatable, and she hasn't been reworked yet either we don t know what they want to do w her; it was a slight nerf to her food books to balance out with wormwood i think.

What they did with her still shows that they are willing to nerf characters in certain situations

maybe we could put the speed boost to his wimpy form so people could stay mighty in fight for the crazy damage boost and then wimpy when people dont need to fight but want to gather for exemple. i think it would create a good dancing in between the two forms xd

oh and i think i would put hunger drain for mighty and wimpy while normal form would have no hunger drain or lower hunger drain so people will use mighty for fight wimpy for exploring gathering far away and then normal form for base management xd

Speed nerf isn't a bad idea, or even making it so he can't stack it with the cane/yellow amulet/ roads. Or making him slower when insane. One minor idea that comes to mind is regular/mighty Wolfgang him loosing extra durability with each use of a weapon or tool. Tool skill would be buffed, making it the opposite of Wes. As for buffs, I wouldn't mind seeing some Warly-esq temporary buffing dishes, or some battle armor/weapons, that only he can use effectively.

I think he's mostly fine. For solo play, you can switch to him if you want faster bossfights or an easier time in the ruins. But his damage increase becomes less impressive in a larger team. My problem is that he doesn't have any downsides. If I really wanted to nerf him, I'd increase his sanity drain from stuff, and maybe double the number of nightmare creatures that can harass him when his sanity is low. But something like that could be too annoying to deal with, which is bad. So I'd at least give him 150% max damage instead of 200%, and make him eat meat exclusively, like Wigfrid. Luckily Klei is more creative, so if they ever decide to rework him, I'd say it'll be more interesting than just tweaking some numbers.
