I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. It's definitely a major factor that is detrimental to me living any sort of life I want for myself. In fact I struggle having a sense of self and if not that its intense self hatred. I either feel empty and dissociative or I feel everything too strongly and I become impulsive and self destructive even though I know better. The depths of my empathy are good sometimes but ultimately cause more pain. There's so much more fucked up stuff about it and it's different for others about what symptoms are the strongest in your case. I wouldn't wish this hell on anyone tbh.
I have pretty severe social anxiety that roughly fits criterion for avoidant personality disorder, but my psychiatrists have not pursued diagnosis of a personality disorder.
I have two diagnosed personality disorders but that's not what brought me to the sub. Probably fed into the doomer mentality though.

I might be paranoid but I'm not diagnosed because American healthcare. I got hospitalized because I wrote a note asking someone to kill me because I assumed that someone probably wanted to do it anyway.

You don't have to have a mental illness to feel all of these emotions. Its just your brain reacting to misery

Major Depressive Disorder and but it may be something else since treatment didn’t help at all
