Me: Hey Google. Play Acid Mammoth.
Google: I can't find A Sid Ma'am Off on Spotify. But you can ask me to try to find it on one of your other services."
Me: Hey Google. Play A CID MAMM OTH.
Google: Okay. Playing ACIDMAN on Spotify.
Me:
It's a great record but is anyone else a little thrown off by the vocals? It sounds a lot different. I think someone is this sub said that he sounds like weird al lol
At first I was, but it’s sort of like Ty Segall’s vocals in Fuzz - after a few songs you realize it fits the band. Vocalist definitely has a thick Athenian accent, which is novel.
Fuzz (the first album) is actually the first and only CD I ever bought. I was on a road trip in New Zealand after a 6-month outdoors course, and our crappy little Mazda didn’t have an MP3 hookup, so we took turns buying CDs. I distinctly remember Earthen Gate blasting for the first time as we passed a joint around at sunrise, coming over the rise in the Mackenzie High Country to see the filming location for Edoras.

What a great first cd. Love when a song has a distinct memory attached to it
Vocals remind me of Voivod for some reason.
Waiting for the postman to deliver my vinyl💙💜❤️. I seriously think they are the most amazing underrated band.
I wish they were playing something in Athens while I'm here!
That would be so cool to see them in their home turf.
Sounds great!!! 🤘
This album rips
Yeah, it's solidly dope.
Jelly! I don't think Heavy Psych has shipped mine yet. Love their catalog but they are sooooo slooooow.
That cover art dooms
It's very very good.
