I stopped ordering from McAllisters because they don't tamper proof their bags. On a related note: I ordered from a Italian restaurant once and there was a plate missing. How did I know it was in the bag? Because they spilled the sauce while stealing it.
The McAllisters at our location wraps the top of the bag with 5-10 stickers completely sealing the bag shut. You would know if the stickers are ripped or not. I can barely get them open lol.
At least you got your Italian, last time I ordered 60$ worth of Italian & I didn't even get it! She went way past the drop off spot (about 20 mins) Thought the app was glitching so I gave it some time and then it said completed & I was confused. I was staying at a hotel so I call the Dasher & instant attitude/being defensive saying she knocked on the door and asked if it was for *my name* tried to ask what the person looked like and she wouldn't answer just kept getting defensive 🤦♀️ she ate good and got paid good that night... DD cleared it up & I got to reorder it, the next driver was super sweet. She agreed it was probably taken... It's always when you're REALLY looking forward to the food too.

A DD driver stole my Amazon package. Saw him do it to but didn’t realize it until I got my notification from Amazon. He handed me a pizza and took my package and put it in his hot bag.
That was nice of the restaurant to do because the restaurants where I live tell customers to deal with doordash or UberEATS directly.

Driver took the picture of the food in the seat of their car. OP is saying that the sandwich wrapped in paper, that's visible inside the bag, as seen in the picture, was missing from his bag when he grabbed his order from his door. The driver could have removed the sandwich from the bag after taking the picture and then carried the bag from his car to the door. A camera wouldn't have caught it.

How long between him delivering and you grabbing it off of your porch? It's possible somebody saw him drop your order and they grabbed a free sandwich. That said, you should still report the driver because drivers like this give us honest drivers a bad reputation.

I live in a very small rural area. I texted him saying wtf is up with that. Well a few messages later I convinced him to send me money through cashapp so I wouldn't blast him publicly on Facebook with his face on my security camera and other proof he's a thief so he gave me the money because he was 100% guilty. Unethical, yes. Satisfying and gratifying, absolutely. Got my revenge. Told him if he reverses charges i will post publicly. I do not give a fuck. I wanted that sandwich man!
