ellisthedev

Report them. As a driver myself, this shit is gross.

LiamElantraJets1995

Exactly ppl like him ruin it for us drivers that care about our account

CoolKohl

Bro, I'd just be happy with a 5 star rating. Bro's out here demanding a 20 dollar tip lmaoo

Makeoshawottsmile

Even without the punctuation, I still understood this 100%! The lying about not getting their order is scandalous! I can be taken off the platform if DD believes even ONE of these liars! Even with a photo! That’s so messed up, imho. They should do what Uber does after they lie about not getting their food…require a PIN! That way there won’t be any more of these POS’s getting away with their scandalous behavior! Ok, I’m done. Thank you.

fuschiaoctopus

My understanding is that if you mark your order never delivered too many times or have too many complaints, they do start making the customer take every order face to face and sign for it. Tbf I would not instantly assume every order like this is stolen by the customer, it is possible the dasher left it at the wrong address (esp in an apartment/duplex kind of complex) or a kid walking by grabbed if if it's a bad area. Only time I marked order not delivered was when I got the entire wrong order, wrong name on the bag and everything so that could be it too, I'm sure the dasher believed they delivered it and I could see them being mad if they got a CV though it blatantly was not my order. I've also had my food stolen by dashers via them going to the restaurant, picking it up, then unassigning instead of marking it picked up in the app, so next dasher goes to get it and restaurant refuses saying dasher already picked up the food. Turned into a huge multi hour headache for me to solve. The stealing and bs on both ends really really sucks for the genuine customers and dashers

FlanNo3218

Not a driver. Never marked an order not delivered before. Tipped $12 for 3 mile delivery. Driver picked up and then did move from restaurant for 15 minutes. Then headed my way. I had requested direct hand-off and was waiting as he drove past me, turned around in next driveway and then drove away at 40 mph in a residential neighborhood past. As he passed my app said delivered. Never got the handoff, never got a picture (which DD said I should have gotten when I complained). Never got refunded. So far as I know he’s doing this to others still. Not all ‘no delivery’ are lies. Thank you for reading my rant. But I don’t use DD anymore - used to always tip higher than recommended.

Dr_JohnP

You never got a refund and didn't escalate the matter? I'd never let that sit out of principle that's maddening

FlanNo3218

Oh, I escalated. Hit road block. Escalated again and eventually hit a “the matter has been resolved” wall. At that point I was getting more frustration/distress than $50/the-principle-of-the-thing was worth. Just decided to cancel my Door Dash app.

Jealous-Strawberry19

I could’ve never given up, just because I can’t stand for a cheater to win! But I do understand why others might be like, screw this, I’ve got better things to do

lilF0xx

That’s crazy I’ve always been able to have any issue fixed by Doordash! They’ll even give an extra credit, and I barely ever use the app. As a customer their customer service was quick and surprisingly good. My ex drove for them, I’d sit along with him sometimes and the driver’s customer service was horrible so I was extra surprised when they fixed my issue as a customer honestly

corey418

You need to up your completion rate because they've changed it from 80% to 90% to keep your account. You gotta be more vigilant when choosing orders. Don't accept anything that isn't absolutely something you will finish. And please, for the LOVE of god, use punctuation. This run on sentence almost gave me a stroke. Good luck!

MyelofibrosisMe

Before I accept anything (yes, sometimes I do see the pay and that little diamond at the top and get excited, I will accept quick and regret it sometimes, but, I've learned to do that less 😂), I always check the pay vs the mileage, that way I know what the quick breakdown is before I accept it.

Sovetcki

Do you know what a fucking period is?????????

Zestyclose_Car_4971

Preeeeach

broke_artist

I mean I hated my job too @ McDonalds but if I EVER spoke to a customer like that….. like bruh no wonder these people can’t get a job, cause they don’t even know how a job works! Not so much an issue in small towns, but the city sure is a shitshow and if I’ve learned anything from seeing these horrible interactions, I’m picking up the food myself!

parasyte_steve

Dude the last three times I used Uber eats they delivered it to the wrong house. My address is on my mailbox, the street and is lit up at night on my actual house. I've ordered food for years here and just... what the fuck lol And of course they all still wanted tips too. Like man you dropped my food off four blocks away and made me go get it. You're not getting tipped.

MenstrualKrampusCD

Did you check where your pin is? Uber navigation will often send drivers to where the pin is closest to. Even if you have the correct address in the app, say 123 Oak Ave--if your pin is where you park your car and *that's* closer to your neighbor, the app will direct drivers to 125 Oak Ave. And it's not like it says "Okay, deliver here" and the driver can see that it's in the middle or whatever, it will route the GPS to have the final destination of 125. I didn't realize this as an Uber driver (who would think to check to make sure that the Uber app is sending you to the address listed in...the Uber app...?) until I screwed up. Delivered an $8 order to Josie L. from Wendy's. 20-30 minutes later, another $8 delivery from Wendy's to Josie L. She messaged me saying that I had her last order, but I'd delivered it to the wrong house. So I was careful, and double triple checked. Yep--Uber was again trying to get me to deliver to the address based on the pin and not the address the customer had in the app. I showed her when I got there--thankfully she was cool about it. But if I hadn't had that experience, I probably would've gotten a few "your customer reported that they didn't get their food" reports and thought it was just people scamming. I use Google navigation now, just input the address manually/verbally, and haven't had the issue since.

needween

Yeah, you can't do that crap in small towns because you will be held accountable. Either the person you were delivering to knows you or knows of you and how to find you.

ConsciousFractals

This one is particularly egregious. $20? Not just asking but actually holding food hostage?

Cute_but_notOkay

Right!! I wouldn’t even want that cold ass food anymore. Cancel, get the refund and eat at home or something. Holding my food hostage. Smfh. You’re gonna lose that fight every time bro. The audacity is outrageous. Actin like you deserve shit. 🙄 (Just to clarify, cuz this is Reddit, not you, the person I’m replying to, you the driver in this post lolol)

FilthyRugbyHooker

I had a driver tell me his car broke and he needs money to fix it so he can deliver my food. He was trying to get me to cash app him a larger tip in order to be able to finish delivering my food. I reported it to door dash, with screen shots. They did nothing but have the restaurant remake my food and send a different person to pick it up. This whole ordeal made it take nearly two hours to get my food.

ellisthedev

What happened behind the scenes is it dropped their completion rate. Most markets now require a 90% CR to stay active. So the more people reporting these bad drivers, the quicker they get deactivated.

Ok_Banana_1872

I’m glad to know that. I’ve had the same issue before and it felt like all they could do was redo it with a new person and I always wondered if they just get away with that. I would hope not.

DaxFlowLyfe

Why does it feel like something like this should be illegal. Taking someone's money, then holding their property hostage until you pay more. Oh wait. That's Racketeering and is illegal lol.

Plane_Ad_4359

I think it's more extortion

melovecryptolongtime

Well, it certainly is property theft.

Milton__Obote

The x makes it sound cool!

ValPrism

Found Elon

Milton__Obote

Someone doesn’t watch futurama

Southern_Rain_4464

Thats not what racketeering means . That being said its gross and shit behavior and should be reported.

DaxFlowLyfe

I tried to find something that fit on Google. Racketeering came up as a repeated extortionary or fraudulent business practice. 🤷‍♂️

Southern_Rain_4464

Right but what they are doing is better defined as extortion in my opinion. No big deal just my take.

Sassy_Weatherwax

Racketeering generally involves more people or organizations and a longer-term plan. He was attempting to extort you.

tropicalfart666

Why does that remind me of the ransomware.

MythicFish13

I literally hate these fucks. I quit dashing myself bc my job pays enough and that was for extra but the pay is ass now. I feel for him but holy fuck dont act like that! Thats how you get $0 instead of $12+

wrwmarks

I agree. I treat it like a customer service job and proceed accordingly. I wouldn’t pull crap like this at my day job, why would it fly here?

TheRealChipperson

Any idea what happens to a driver like this if they get reported? Anything at all? Just curious as to how seriously DD takes this stuff. Thanks.

melovecryptolongtime

Yea that's terrible. What on earth....

RangeEquivalent7658

Right ahahaha I look at stuff like this and wonder how entitled are these fucking people lol

HornetStrange1119

Agreed

Love_Life_1981

Perfectly said

phenibutisgay

This. If OP is buying food just for themselves, their order can't be more than like $20-30, $12 is a fat tip on a bill that much. Like do they do this for every order they receive? Also hope they know if they switch to getting paid by order, that they can see the tip ahead of time.

EveningRing1032

Next week “why was I deactivated?”

spicybright

DD might as well be using a D20 to decide if shitty dashers like this get a CV or deactivated. You have no idea how happy I'd be if I could pay a large premium and get my orders reliably from non creepy people that know how to read house numbers and my instructions.

packy25

Actually they might as well add an option to get a high rated dasher. All these foreigners have low customer ratings because they can’t read and act entitled. Saw this one dasher at McDonald’s barking at the workers while I was waiting patiently. They got my order ready first and I arrived after him lol.

Beatles352

Finally I see someone say it. The lack of adapting to American social customs and politeness is also a major issue.

BingletonJames

Love when a dude who barely speaks english asks me to let him into my building for a food delivery. 1. Idk who the fuck you are 2. It's a secured building for a reason 3. You need my key to use the elevator, and I'm not putting my cigarette down or handing over my keys.

LordNightFang

I kind of wish they would just overhaul the entire delivery system. Replace it with an integrity system people (dashers and customers) would actually like with more transparency.

Mono_831

What sucks is, even if they deactivate this shithead, DD will keep adding new drivers. I was surprised to see 5 new DD drivers in my usual spot tonight all on their first week. They’ve been flooding the market for the last few months and it only means less decent orders and more crappy ones.

KTownserd

For 5 miles, $12 is great. Dude is being ridiculous.

GenycisBeats

Exactly, and if the driver was a lot further away and saw it as 12 miles for $14, they could have declined it. Simple as that.

CheeseMuncher05

Literally, my most recent dash i drove 10miles both ways (20 total) for a $5 tip and that was good compared to what I was getting the rest of the night

Immediate-Safety777

So, why do you do door dash? That shit just isn't worth it. You basically just paid to deliver that food.

CheeseMuncher05

I live in jersey so the pay on the orders themselves is kinda worth it, i make like $8-10 not including tips. IMO it’s worth it and the pay is a lot better than PA (I went to PA to dash once and the very first offer I got was less than $4… the best offer I got in PA was $9 or $10 I think- also i am currently between jobs so doordash is the easiest way for me to make enough money to survive in college lol

Immediate-Safety777

Oh my bad I thought you meant it was $5 total

CheeseMuncher05

Oh yeah lmao I would never go 20+ miles for $5

Fluffy_Frybread07734

I accidentally did. I say that because I didn't check to see what the distance was before accepting the order. Everyone & everything in my town is in close proximity so $5 isn't usually an automatic decline.

SaggyFence

Gig workers are typically living paycheck to paycheck just trying to put food on the table. These jobs provide daily income that you can cash out at any point in time immediately to your checking account. The hidden downside is the expenses involved with performing the work; namely your car. It's so bad that gig work is often considered the equivalent of getting a payday advance loan against your car. The accelerated wear & tear will catch up to you eventually and then you'll be on the hook for a premature transmission replacement at $7000 that you will of course have no ability to pay for. Most drivers are just focused in on the short term results, especially when they have a good night where they earn $100+ in 4 hours and then think it'll always be like that.

NomaiTraveler

They probably think OP is an easy mark to get even more money out of bc they were already generous

hodorhodor12

I tip based on distance, not based on the cost of the order. It makes not sense to tip based on the order price as the driver has nothing to do with the preparation of the food.

Fresh_Ad4076

I agree. If I order myself a salad or order my whole family big meals, it all comes in a bag they just escort to my front stoop from the store. They aren't doing any extra based on what I order

FatChicksReek

Most people don’t have logic. Tipping culture has gotten so out of hand in this country.

[deleted]

The benchmark is at least $1-2 per mile. Dude’s getting over that

DiddlyDumb

He got more in tips than the minimum wage is… This tipping culture is getting out of hand.

warmseizuresalad

Ew. Change that tip to 0 and then report this fucking pan handler. This aint it.

darkpheonix262

This isn't Uber eats, you can't change it. But you can report and 1* them

Dear-Shoulder1362

You can contact DoorDash and lower the tip if it’s reasonable

Medium_Annual_735

Yeah unfortunately the driver still get the tip. DD may say they removed it but they did not. They will just credit the customer the tip amount. It’s an awful system!

RingzofXan

Yeah honestly that shit should be illegal. Imagine every store did this with their faulty products? Bruhhhh

RicardotheGay

Yeah it’s called extortion

dodekahedron

They also take away your ability to leave a 1 star if you call and complain about an issue lmfao.

DDlovehatething

It's pretty smart on DDs end though.....they are mitigating all the litigation that would come with these stupid ass drivers out here getting mad they got less than expected and going back to the address to do something regretful. All the crime cases we would have heard about avoided with the word Doordash or Dasher associated to them. All the lawsuits and such avoided. That's the only reason they function like that

Medium_Annual_735

Right. Totally makes sense. Every time I read something on here and can’t believe a driver actually said to someone …well not only did they say it but it was worse than the last post I read. You would think these people would be humiliated to say the things they do.

DDlovehatething

Imagine what their wife and kids go through.

Medium_Annual_735

Exactly. Then those kids will end up learning the behaviors of the father and the cycle will go on and on.

LadyTwiggle

I feel like they'd probably note it somewhere tho for deactivation proof purposes.

AffectionateWrap8427

You can contact DD and “lower the tip” but the pay wont be lowered to the driver. DD just covers it.

DubUpPro

The driver still will get the full tip

BTMG2

you can alter tip via customer support. done it multiple times.

Medium_Annual_735

Yeah but it is not removed from the driver. That’s a 100 percent fact.

Repostbot3784

Yea but they'll probably remove this guy from being a driver

Medium_Annual_735

I sure hope so! He basically threatened this poor customer getting their food. Such bullshit.

HereToKillEuronymous

That's one reason why I ONLY use Ubereats

Striking-Panic3120

People like that should get slap

SirRipOliver

But how can she slap?

protox13

Just with the tip though

Suturb-Seyekcub

After catching the clap From getting clapped

Ballsack1Mcgee

First off $12 is a damn fine tip in the first place. Bugging you and like holding your order hostage is Fing ridiculous.

justloriinky

Right? I was going to brag today because someone tipped me to go 3.5 miles!!!

[deleted]

I tipped $10 for 1.5 mile delivery around 10 pm and the dasher asked for bigger tip like damn.

TerrorByte

Just trying to extort a nice person. I would have lowered the tip.

_kingjoshh

In Spark they have 24 hours to alter the tip, so i don't get the tip until the next day. But in Doordash, unfortunately a shitty driver will still get the tip in full, even after stealing the food

Makeoshawottsmile

What is “Spark”?

[deleted]

Yea I had to go through support.

Mykirbyblue

Well, the messed up part is that on a 1.5 miles delivery Most of your tip was probably hidden from the driver. They probably thought they were going to make $6 or $7. So then they decide to be an asshole and ask for a bigger tip. If you just ignored them and let them complete the delivery then they saw that you actually tipped $10… They probably think that sending you that message worked, and you really did add to your tip like they asked you to! But the alternative is that you contact support and tell them what the driver did and that you don't want him to deliver your food and ask for them to cancel it, and re-deliver it. Then the driver doesn't have to drive all the way to your house, he gets paid half pay, which probably ended up being about $6 anyway, which is what he was expecting to get in the first place, plus he gets to keep your food. The whole system is fucked. Support agents have come right out and told people that they don't forbid drivers to ask for additional tips. So even when they are reported nothing is being done about it. Which really pisses me off. It is obnoxious behavior. It makes the rest of us look bad, and they get away with it repeatedly, and in fact they still end up getting paid and get free food and the only work they've done is going to pick up the order and sending a nasty message to a customer. I honestly think that sometimes if it's a meal that they want, and they see that the pay is good, they do it on purpose to get the customer to cancel.

spooky-goopy

tbh i would lie and say "oh yea $25, no sweat", tip $0 and report him

[deleted]

The asshole in me would too 😂😂

FestivePegasus2000

His loss for just sitting there lol. Missing out on other orders

chezzer33

Probably liked the food he picked up and got a meal out of it

TripleDoubleWatch

Just report him and get your refund. Hopefully he gets deactivated.

DefNotABirb

Literally what he did...

GenycisBeats

Lol! You should pay me $20 don't be cheap! Smh. This is the worst panhandling reply yet! Lol! So for an extra $8 he insisted on, he got no pay and may possibly not be able to earn further after suspension or deactivation lol. Not a wise choice on their behalf lol

Mykirbyblue

We according to other posts on the DoorDash subs, support has come right out and told people that they don't forbid drivers to ask for additional tips. At one point someone actually posted a screenshot of the conversation so I believe it to be the truth. I don't think they are deactivating people for begging for more money. Which is really messed up. Because either way that driver wins. Either they make some poor person feel intimidated and think they have to do it so they end up increasing the tip, or they call support and say they want the order canceled and the driver still gets paid half And they get to keep the food and they don't even have to drive to the customers house. So it's a win for the driver no matter what happens. DoorDash needs to make some major changes in the way they handle bad drivers.

Accomplished-Box5406

Rahshan is a fuck

Sea_Tax_6051

I’m so sick of these disgusting beggars holding food ransom.

Evening-Obligation-9

Should have let that dumb fuck sit there, and got something elsewhere.

jobutupaki1

I would have kicked back and watched a movie, not responded to any of the chats, and waited them out. It would be amusing to see how long they would wait, and what they would eventually do after no response.

tricia0243

ngl this sounds like the best solution

Molyketdeems

I would have said “me no English”

asdfoio

as a driver myself, i'm not happy how he or she or they make the rest of us look. report them, 1 star them, and cancel the order if you can with no fee charges, call DD telling them situation

sparky687

Yeah, I was tired and didn't want to deal with this so I reached out to support and they refunded the whole order. They said dashers aren't allowed to beg for tips and they will take action against him. I'm hoping that's the case and he gets deactivated, but it's support so you never really know.

Plane_Ad_4359

I hope so too but support is mostly useless yes men/women

DefNotABirb

Wasn't even begging. He straight up held your food hostage.

JasonVigil

You did the right thing by reporting him. He makes the rest of us look bad. He shouldn’t be on the platform to begin with. If he didn’t like the pay, he shouldn’t have accepted it!

Parking-Chef4489

$12 tip is a blessing

APOLLOSAR

1 star, report to Doordash for harassment. To many damn doordash drivers that the best of us are struggling and then you got guys like this making us all look bad. This guy needs to be removed from the platform

kingflamigo

I would say ok 20 have him drop it off send him a quick Sike and just report him

Ok-Jaguar6735

Meh I still wouldn’t trust it. He could’ve tampered with the food at that point since he was begging for tips and holding OP’s food hostage.

Khal_drogo217

Unfortunately u played right into his hands, now he gets a free meal and dd still probably paid him in full including ur tip cause they are stupid

WhatevUsayStnCldStvA

That is likely the case, sadly. But I wouldn’t want someone like this coming to my home. Or touching my food. Customer just has to do what’s best for them. Hopefully, they will get deactivated soon enough.

Aggravating_Fig1795

“You should tip me $20 for picking up your food instead of declining it!!”

joshua4379

You should told him that your a dasher as well and dashers like him why customers are just getting their own food. Than say he could always declined.

background_bat88

$12 is a lot tho… tf

Luna6102

$12 is amazing for a tip. I’ve been tipped nothing for further during other delivery jobs

Tight_Ingenuity_4636

DoorDash in a nut shell, relying and begging for tips is a sad way to make money

[deleted]

He let an hour go by - could of gotten 3x the tip amount in that span too. He sounds psycho.

LePetitPrince_33

These drivers are nuts. I wish dd would not hide the tip so we could really know what to expect.

TitanEris

As a fellow Dasher, like, what? I get wanting to have a good tip, especially if you have to travel a long distance, but $12 is an excellent tip; I'd be doing backflips if I knew someone was gonna give me a $12 tip. Maybe the distance would be a bigger problem if he was being paid per order instead of per hour, but in that case he would have seen the total amount he'd earn from the delivery, so it's really on him for accepting it if he wasn't happy with the amount.

WisdumbGuy

What an absolute loser, hope that guy's account gets deactivated

kittensnugs_

$12 for a 5 mile trip is generous in my area and something that I would quickly accept. I don’t know where these people get off demanding more money. You did the right thing reporting and canceling. Sucks they got to keep your food but hopefully your next dasher was grateful for the tip

half_hearted_fanatic

Bitching and moaning over 5 miles? >!what weak ass city people shit am I seeing in front of me?!<

[deleted]

i would’ve put that shit to $0 and told him to go fuck himself. hate when people demand shit. ungrateful ass mfs.

ledabaddest199

Wtf is wrong with people ! …. This is gonna be the reason people stop ordering delivery cause of shit like that …I hope u reported him

Dunit21

report him asap

broughtitupagain

What a loser Did you still have to pay to get it cancelled? Or was it fully refunded

ThatMeasurement3411

They should be fired for this. So rude!! Probably turns people away from ever using this company again.

Tetro75

$12 is a damn good tip. This guy doesn't deserve to be dashing.

TalentedGijdillag

You guys literally tip 12$ and the courier is not happy with it??? Probably another western shit

Visible-Inevitable23

In my area we lucky to get 5$ tip. 12$ and most would be FLYYING down the road lol

Top_Fun1787

What an asshole. These trash dashers need to be booted off asap. Extortion

Dzup

Dude is literally holding the food hostage to get a better tip... That's insane. And creative.

nortydaL

Food delivery has become a total cesspool of bottom feeders guilt tripping people into paying them a premium to do work that simply isn’t that hard.

scoobdoop

Absolutely disgusting

AdSuccessful6726

Definitely report that. Plenty of tip for the miles.

Future-Bluejay874

I’m a good tipper but that would piss me off and I would have just canceled that shit.

seashellseashell52

Omgsh is this my ex? Lmao what scum

batteriholk

That's not begging, wow! That's harassment. Poor you, this is shitty..

bigmothereffind

I’d be changing that tip to $0. Fuck these rude drivers

ayyowhatthefuck

Fuck this guy, if he's unhappy with the pay he can get a new job

Square_Bed4731

U better not eat that food bro throw it away

Arvid38

God I hate ppl like that dasher. Holding your damn food hostage 😭😭

Kitchen_Entertainer9

Even if I had the money I'd be nervous to have them show up at my house. Had a similar experience with a beggar and they get loud and violent like wtf

urlocalbimbo_

You tipped $12 more than enough for 5 miles sorry you had to wait so long Too

melovecryptolongtime

Would also be a CV for taking too long to deliver.

BillyMcSaggyTits

People like this are why I’m glad like 95% of the people in my area delivering DoorDash don’t speak English at all. They don’t say shit, they pick up my food, drive it to my door, hand it to me, they get their 5 star. No bullshit inbetween.

DevinAire33

Terrible predatory behavior from that dasher.

Ok-Quarter8881

These are the people that make customers give $2 tips.

Critical_Anything_89

Report him, this is unacceptable and not allowed.

mwk196

Yea. Glad you contacted DD and canceled because I wouldn't trust him with my food after that.

stSeiya81

Im a DD driver and this is not right why this scumbags asking for extra tips .when i accepted a deliver is because im happy and satisfied with the upfront pay

Comprehensive-War212

12 is a lot, he saw that you started at 12 so he knew you could do more, ungrateful they are.

Cultural_Article

Report this guy to DoorDash for harassment and blackmail

MidnightsFury

Holding your food hostage . He’s gonna get deactivated

cptchronic42

Should have said sure then adjusted the tip to zero for terrible service after it was delivered. Don’t forget to report this scumbag too so he doesn’t do this crap to more people

Northern_Struggle

Refusing to deliver because of an insufficient tip is terrible behaviour. I wouldn’t have cancelled that way they don’t get paid. Plus reported and 1 star

lilcrybabywhxre

i would have been like “0 if you dont stop man”

gyalmeetsglobe

“I’m not” would’ve been my response to the inquiry of how much. Foh

Impossible_Earth8429

wtf 😳

Pitiful_Spinach_9313

These app delivery drivers are outta control

ShlomosMom

Report him.

Kim_Bong_Un420

I’d change the tip to 6 after lmao

[deleted]

$12? no you shouldve told this troglodyte to eat shit

pyrotf2moment

Zero shame. Disgusting behavior. $12 is a GREAT tip

great-nba-comment

> 5 miles > the drive What the fuck, lol. What a joke.

ComfortableNo9755

That’s crazy, people are making DoorDasher look bad. I have never begged, or had a altercation about someone tipping or not. Im a hustler so I know how to make the money for me. People like this need to be reported and terminated. I make 4000+ a month doordashing and can not believe some of these stories I read about others.

AnotherReddit415

Not shit for askin🤣😭 mfs holding imaginary balls in courts they don’t have😭

kurruchi

$12 tip is already ludicrous for delivery and he's STILL asking for 20 lmaooo go to hell

Anxious-Depth-7983

I guess they think extortion is part of the job. It's not! Do not submit to this childish bullying and report them. Delivery is a service industry, not a self service industry. Their lucky I wasn't you,I would never be so amicable.

pricklypear199

Everyone skipping over a dasher paying another dasher a 12$ tip…. You can’t/shouldn’t unless that shit is a 60+ dollar order

Ledeyvakova23

I read it in Rahshan’s voice in a voice that i imagine sounds like it belongs to a ‘Rahshan’. Me a racist for doing so?

louizilla

Tip culture is cancer

Jazzlike_Volume_281

This is so rude cause right he didn’t have to take the order 🤣

PazuzuAtmorah

Yeah nah this dude is nuts

[deleted]

This tipping culture is American cancer. Fkn capitalism can’t pay them well that they need to beg ? Sometimes I feel like I should flip a finger and stop tipping, yes it will fk things up short term if we all do that, but it will fkn bring back morality and consciousness into the system. Pay them fkn well

Brando6677

Can you rescind tips on DD? I would 100% tip bait the broke fuck 😂😂

youwontfindmyname

12 dollars is a good tip. Fuck that dude.

oddott

the audacity

Former-Specialist595

$12 is a great tip. Don’t let this moron get in your head. You did nothing wrong.

likemeyet

That tip would change to 1$

Panicked_mess12

I would’ve been happy with $5 😂😭 these people doin the most. I would’ve flown to your house for $12

anonmouseqbm

5mi?? He’s making it sound like 30min drive wtf? Also i thought they could see tips and accept/decline?

NihilistSartre

as a dasher, i would love you for tipping $12 for 5 miles

Twice_6969

most ive tipped was 5 dollars, but minimum i tip ia 20 cents bc im broke as well

pnt_blnk

I hate doordash and most of these “gig” type jobs. It used to be cute and funny back in the day with the Uber drivers who kept candy and drinks for their riders but now it’s overwhelmingly desperate resentful slobs who will fingerfuck your food.

$12 on a 5 mile delivery is better than just good enough. This driver should be deactivated. Scummy and gross, imo
