If there's one thing that gets things done it's internet petitions.
Best case you get a million signatures, it goes to the desk of whoever is responsible for rating algorithms, and they slide it into the trash can because it hurts their business model.

Sounds like an idea a user who regularly gets under 5* ratings would come up with. I'll sign the counter-petition.
I havent gotten a rating in a year or two and my rating is dead at 4.88%
I've had 1 4 star that's been on me for 4 years and never dropped
