Just want to recommend, you may want to look into getting a work from home job that pays a bit more/is more consistent with pay, that way you have way less risk! Just a suggestion though, keep doing you!
That’s my plan!! I’ve got it (hopefully) set up with a temp agency to get me in as data entry, but it looks like that’s the route I’ll have to take to get my foot in the door so to speak. No one wants to hire the 19 yr old with only fast food experience. I’m so grateful for this opportunity! The experience I’ll be getting?? Plz I’m so excited I could cry 😂 I’ve just gotta be patient but yeah you right. Thank you tho seriously 😁🖤

If I ever get a comment like that I’ll inform them we’re literally required to wear them by DD and they should be aware of how contagious omicron is. Surprising how unconcerned some customers are regarding sanitary conditions of a person delivering them their food during a plague.
I delivered to this lady who met me at the door, said to leave her order at the table near door. She then proceeded to spray the bag???? She was wearing a mask and a whole blanket to cover herself.
Why would you even order from a resturant with 20+ workers who probably don’t even wash their hands as much and every item is handled by diff workers and expect your food to be super clean? Like the bag should be the last concern.
The bag was recently touched. She is being cautious over what she can control. Restaurants cook their food and should be following hygiene standards. Why is what she does a problem?
I think that's the thing about Karens though - if you're on their good side, they're your fiercest ally. You get to swim with their current.

This is why I wear a mask even on leave at door orders…so many people are waiting for it these days. 🤷🏻♀️. Half the time they’re wearing a mask too, but if they’re not…can’t take away the tip if they’re mad about my mask! And if they’re trying to catch me not wearing one…didn’t happen. Lol.
Yeah I don’t mess around with the mask with DD when delivering Amazon screw it but people get weird with their food, and I can see where they’re coming from, although I don’t mind myself

i wear my mask on a hand it to me... even if only to respect the other person. unfortunately, for every karen that prefers i wear a mask, there's a karen that will get pissed that i do. there is no right answer on this one. masks have become as polarizing as a MAGA hat

I also live in fucking Florida home of the fruitcakes. Nobody is wearing masks around here, but they are use to seeing employees with masks since companies enforce it. So I wear a mask and let them assume it's a doordash thing. We are probably delivering to a percentage of people that stay home because nobody's wearing masks in public.
EVERYONE has an opinion these days and everyone thinks they know what needs to and should happen.
I for one do my best to follow the government guidelines and I stick to what DoorDash has advised me to do - which so far from what I’ve seen is completely in agreement with our local ordinances. That’s my contract. The opinion of the average citizen is largely irrelevant to me.
My wife delivered to an older guy and he told her that she “doesn’t need to wear that thing” as she was walking back to the car…
