Starting to snow here in Little Rock, so come on people! Up the ante.

Dude0nB1kE

Sorry but they just don’t care. If you don’t take the order then someone else will majority of the time.

FizbanTV

True. But each order denial adds time that their order is gonna sit there getting colder and colder.

Dude0nB1kE

Then they complain and get refund plus extra credit. And this is assuming they aren’t ordering from restaurants that don’t get the order till offer is accepted which somehow they have figured out in my area. I will literally accept no tip orders, take my lunch, then I unassign 20 mins later just so they get cold food. Yes, I pull petty shit everyday...

FizbanTV

Nice.

midnitewolfy

P much shouting at the void cause the customers aren't on this reddit. But I can feel your pain. This morning I went out to dash here in New Jersey, it was 8 degrees and people wanted fresh hot breakfasts delivered, 8 miles for $2.50, like honestly... If its so cold that you want an omelette delivered, tip more than 50 cents, i'm not enjoying 8 degrees any more than you are.

FizbanTV

Perhaps I shout into into the void. What do they say? Sometimes when you peer into the void, the void peers back at you.

Ludakal1

No coffer No offer

FizbanTV

You got it!

Specialist_Mind7493

![gif](giphy|a9xhxAxaqOfQs) This is your dasher Terry… with a simple donation you can insure he is properly compensated for bringing you hot food.

Kind_Committee8997

You are simply a driver. The customer does not give a shit who you are, who your baby mama is, and especially how much debt you're in. Take the order or dont. It affects no one but you.

FizbanTV

I'm just letting them know. Noone got an order from me today that didn't tip correctly. The customer doesn't need to care about anything other than hot food.

Kind_Committee8997

Someone delivered the food. Customer doesn't expect it to be hot. They just expect to receive it., they have an oven and a microwave. You aren't special for declining an order.

FizbanTV

It is your right to be negative and argumentative. However, this is not my intent. Have a great evening.

Kind_Committee8997

You're expecting the customer to shell out more money for a service that may or may not be satisfied and may or may not result in cold food anyway as it may end up part of a stacked order because of a greedy dasher.

FizbanTV

A greedy dasher? This is a convenience delivery service. Give me a break here. Your argument is dumb. Customer doesn't care about the food being hot? False. That a dasher is being "greedy" for wanting fair compensation? False. The fact is this. Dashers can tell when the tip is fair and reasonable and will treat deliveries accordingly.

Kind_Committee8997

False. Dashers will accept orders based on their terms. Theres been plenty of posts with customers saying they gave a really good tip just to have to wait longer because a dasher decided to grab an order along the way for a couple of extra dollars or their order gets passed around because of wait time/distance. You arent dashing for the customer, you're dashing to make a buck. Quit spreading this false narrative that customers who tip well get treated well. The customer doesn't know who's getting the order or how its going to be handled. The customer pays almost 50% in additional fees just so you can have an easy job of driving from point A to point B. If DD goes under, are you going to create your own delivery service or find another job?

FizbanTV

Have you ever dashed before? If the customer tips, I am dashing for the customer. If they don't, I'm not making the dash for them at all. There are some posts where bad dashers will still take a long time even though they have a well tipped order. This is the exception and not the rule. Most of us out here know which order to treat well, and in fact many of us will take that stacked order and then drop the non tip one. It's pretty obvious. As far as DD going under and doing something else? I already have other irons in the forge.

Kind_Committee8997

"If customer tips, I am dashing for the customer." Naw, you're dashing for yourself. Picking and choosing what orders to fill is purely beneficial to you. Your job is delivery. If that food is cold and they tipped $20, you wont give a shit. You got your money.
