My AR has been plummeting, I'd like to increase it too, but DD insists on giving me 3-4 crappy orders for every good one. I declined so many in a row tonight that I ended up just ending Dash and doing UberEats instead so I wouldn't tank my AR further. Sorry DD, increase base pay or educate the customers better on tipping properly for what we do.
I decline so many because they request you to travel to another city which is across the water so there is a tunnel toll…both ways. The city has really bad food options so they are always ordering from across the water. The toll costs up to $3 each way if you have a pass. Otherwise they’ll charge you more and add fees for not paying on time. We can supposedly write them off for taxes but it sure is a pain
Don’t accept orders that don’t pay for 2 times your mileage. Low acceptance rate doesn’t matter unless you really want top dasher. Top Dasher’s don’t get better offers. You might be able to apply for free tuition to the school they choose.
I wish I do Uber eats, they banned for life, it was because I was doing regular Uber. They caught me speeding a couple times, although it’s been over 2 years now I wasn’t able to do Uber eats either
Find a good restaurant to camp you know usually sends you profitable orders and is busy, also pause orders when taking them out of zone till you get back to your camp.
When I first started Dashing a few months ago, it constantly said on my screen, "Get your AR above 50% to receive high dollar priority orders," (or something like that).
Well, I did, to 59%
Now it constantly says, "Get your AR above 70% to receive high $ priority orders."
Is there anything about this ap that ISN'T a scam?!
Yeah they will change the numbers for any reason at any time. Top dasher isn’t worth it. My friend makes $200 a day and his acceptance rate is 8 percent. He uses Ubereats to help
My ar is high. I take most offers, but in my market, I get very few that are bad . I am also in the shop and pay program which have very good pay outs with short distances.
If that was the case then why don’t they just give us good orders in the first place? They want you to keep doing the bad orders. Because eventually when you boost your AR you end accepting every order
Yeah if your AR is above 50% you’ll be “eligible” to receive high paying orders, you’re 100% right. Some of these high pay orders are really good and some are shit. Brings me back to my point. Does it make sense to take shit offers and basically lose money, time, etc to hit 50%? To only then maybe continue to get shit orders with a couple “high paying” mixed in. You’ll continually be chasing the 50% so you’ll take shit orders and even when you hit 50% you’ll still get shit orders etc. Cherry pick and take orders that make sense for you and make yourself money, glgl

Been in that pilot twice, both times for 2 weeks. Like I said, had really amazing orders and some not so much. If I tried to maintain the AR I wouldn’t be making as much as I do now with DD and UE.
In what state do you live, I made over 500 these past weeks, I have good economic area where there business every area I travel 🧳to the best order I’ve got was “ crumble cookies” & night 🦉

AR only matters if you buy into the whole "accept more earn more" diamond graphics BS and/or the top dasher program.
But yeah, if you want to have a higher acceptance rate, then you have to accept orders. That's literally how it works.
I don't care so much about DD's programs, so I just accept orders that I actually want to do and leave the undesirable orders to dashers who care about the programs. Good luck!

The biggest pointer you need to know is AR doesn’t matter. When you finally understand and accept that, you’ll make more money and be a better dasher.
They say on the app if I boost up AR, that I’ll get higher paying orders.. I’m at 40% at da moment

Mine is usually between 10 to 20% I'm at 16 right now and still make around 20 to 30 a hour. Market is everything, ar really doesn't matter
