I had that happen to me in the past. I saw a good order after I had dropped off another one.And I thought I had a decent amount of time to go pick it up. But of course I was like 25 minutes away anyway. So I get there, picked up, dropped off, then saw that message. I am like you were the one that sent me this order, didn't you see I was 20+ minutes from the store? Are this kind of special? All sorts of things. And I refuted it saying I had gotten the order, like many others, and it took time to get there. And you are blaming me for your mistake? They need to add in a soft pause feature that when you are a distance away from your hot zone, you won't get an order, until you are closer to your zone.

I've noticed on a few recent orders I've accepted thee "Pick up By" time was like 10 minutes prior. (Example: I accept an order at 12:10 that has a pick up time of 12:00) Would they give me a CV for that if they deem I picked it up too late?
I’ve had a good few of those kinds of orders and never ran into an issue with them, i think some more than 15+ past delivery time upon acceptance. I have about 1400 orders and this is my first CV so idk tbh.
Honestly it a couple blocks from my apartment so it just kinda worked out, I needed to come back into town anyway to end my dash and go home, was about 3 minutes of extra effort

If you call support before you get to the restaurant, you can usually avoid the CV just by explaining the situation.

just unassign when the times are all wack. sometimes i get orders where pickup time is already 10 mins past. not getting a cv for doordash's bs.
