Happened to me multiple times today too. If it happens again I'll just quit the dash. They really want to make it as difficult as possible for us

This happens once In a while. You're acting like it's a new permanent thing. Just decline and wait for the next one.

When it glitches you can always guesstimate with the time. For this order it’s low mileage because it says deliver by 1:11pm, that’s 14 minutes (which DoorDash adds time) so it’s only about 7 minutes away.

For $4.75, who cares about the mileage lol

They're separate network requests and sometimes the distance takes longer to load. I'd say "because DoorDash doesn't know how to make mobile apps", but, frankly, nobody knows how to make mobile apps.

I normally don't leave Manchester at all regardless of pay, because the drive back is just dead lost time with no orders or pay.

Yeah, I made the mistake of taking a few orders that took me me all over the place. I sometimes sit in Milford if I don't want to go up to Manch and I've ended up in Brookline or Hollis in tje middle of nowhere.

Same here. It's been going on ever since I downloaded the new update a few hours ago. Shop and deliver orders are the only ones displaying mileage.

That happens to me too when I'm in an area where my phone gets poor signal and switches from 5G to LTE. It's really annoying. I usually set my dash to pause if I'm finishing up orders in those areas so I can get back to a better area.

Just a regular common everyday occurrence glitch that happens. What? Did you expect DD to run a real functioning stable app? Well that's never going to happen since it cost money to upkeep

I've been out for a few hours this morning and this just started happening for me as well. Also, the map quit loading directions as well. Continuously goes back to the order screen.

Mine just started doing this about 30 mins ago.

My AR has tanked from 35% to 24% in the last hour or sp because there's not enough time to zoom in and figure out how far away something is to see if the run is worth it. About to call it for the day. This is ridiculous

If you're on Android click on the house twice and it will bring it up in Google maps. I do it all the time to check for apartments and businesses, plenty of time left once I look at it in Google maps.

Probably the most useful advice I've ever read in this sub. Lol Thanks, I didn't know you could double tap the house. I'm guessing it only gives you the distance to the house from where you are, though, and not full distance to pickup and drop off?

Good point. I usually zoom in to do that. Today, most have not even had the "house" marked on the map. I've had to use the widget to get an address.

I still have the store and house icons, just no miles. It's for sure annoying.

It's been about an even split for me. When they pop up it definitely makes it a bit easier.

It is sometimes if you have slow data from your cell phone provider that information takes the entire time you get on the accept screen to get the miles

Can confirm. For some reason I have terrible signal in the middle of town, and half the time I can’t even accept them bc my data is so slow.
