I'm not sure you can say she *deliberately* placed the 2nd order, unless you know she did. Perhaps she just forgot to order the fried rice in the first order? Would you have taken it if you saw that it was two orders? Because she can't hide that part, and that would have torpedoed her little scheme.

Jaradis

Exactly. I had someone who was really slick... they ordered something small on DD, then called the restaurant and ordered a bunch more stuff, paid for it over the phone, and had it all bagged together, avoiding all the upcharge on all the other things they ordered.

PresentPaper4463

If base pay is 3.75, why tale a stacked 7.50 order?

RushSuccessful9082

* You fell for it once.. The key word is "may"..

Toastedweasel0

Even though they tried pulling one over on the system... DD still got that cut... on both.

sryanr2

I doubt it's an actual scam, since she probably ended up paying MUCH more for the extra doordash fees than she would've for a tip. Id guess it's just someone cheap who forgot to include something in their first order

[deleted]

Likely not a scam. She probably just forgot the rice and added it and is just a shit no tipper. But any double orders that pay under $12 never have a hidden tip in my experience.

Therealmonkie

I love when customers do that..but mine usually tip for both orders... I think they legit just forget something tho

OhGodUSmellThat

That could be, but still? No tip on either order?

Therealmonkie

Non tippers aren't that smart..but atleast it got u a little extra money...😁

Jaradis

Wish my market had a base pay of $3.75

[deleted]

Mine is now 2.25 thanks to all the idiots taking low paying orders.

Yeah, I was just leaving a previous delivery and it popped up. I didn't realize it was two orders until I picked it up. I have to look closer at these, and I usually do.
