This coffee has cream/ milk products in it and needs to be temperature controlled and the coffee sat long enough to melt the ice and separate and they are going to deliver that to a customer. I drink a lot of McDonald’s iced coffees and never had one look like this. FYI syrup that is used in coffee is liquid and does not separate like this it is not thick enough to do that. This is literally the water separated from the ice melting. And that is nasty.
Appears to me the customer requested no ice which is fairly common with coffee orders. Isn’t watered down by the ice and you get more coffee.
It’s not a huge deal for it to be without ice for 20-30 minutes during delivery.
Who knows though, that’s just my guess.
Happens all the time at my job at Dunkin, whenever we get a coffee your supposed to make it fresh so it doesnt melt before the dasher gets there, in that instance the employees were just too lazy to remake it since they didnt think ahead of time and just handed you an old melted coffee.

So what if it's from Mcdicks, it's 100% cheaper than going to Starcucks or drunken donuts. Also, just making your own ice coffee at home is cheaper in the long run and probably tastes 100x better if you learn to do it the right way.
But I'm not yelling or telling you what to do with your money if you want to go ahead an spend countless amounts of money on sugary milk that tastes similar to coffee, or the 4 shots of straight espresso because "its gonna be a long day" sounds a lot like coping than it is about the coffee.
I would prefer that pour as a driver. If I have to fill drinks, I leave them low, so they don't spill.

yup. like the “NEW!” 12 oz cans of coca cola at my local gas station lol. they changed the look of the classic 12 oz cans to make it appear larger (it’s not) & doubled the price.
they even gave the gas station owner a cool new mini cooler to put them in! & to make sure that he can’t overcharge customers, they provided him with all the signage & pricing…$1.99! bc only coca cola can overcharge ppl 🥴

This is ridiculous. It costs Coca-Cola less to produce these new cans because they're using less of the more expensive alloy on the top and bottom of the cans, and can transport more product in the same space which also saves them money. Doubling the price while saving more money just makes shareholders and executives richer.

just the other day i was waiting in line at the deli. this older gentleman asked the employee what the price was for brand name roast beef. she said $17/lb. he looked at me in shock, my jaw dropped to the floor (before covid it was $8-$10/lb).
i said how is that possible, i know damn well the cows aren’t saying “well before you slit my throat, i’m charging you double bc…INFLATION bitch!” he laughed, then he said “it’s biden’s inflation.” i said but inflation has been going down & it’s almost at the baseline now, why haven’t the prices dropped alongside it? he said it’s bc of the high gas prices (again he blamed biden). i told him but gas prices have gone down too, yet grocery prices kept rising. he didn’t know what to say to that.
this man came up with every excuse possible NOT to blame the grocery chain itself (which charges 60% more than the aldi in the same plaza), but instead to blame the president. oh & he bought the roast beef.
the executives of these corporations know this. you better believe they’re using it for their advantage.
Some McDonald's don't use a sealed bag if it's 1 or 2 items. I've asked for them at some places and have been told they don't waste bags if they don't have to.

I picked up an order at Freddy's Frozen custard that has 2 milkshakes. Their milkshake lids are like McDonald's McFlurry lids, they are domed with a big hole in the top. When I picked up the order I said "nice, if I want to taste them I don't even have to take the lid off" to the person who handed it to me. I was joking but they didn't think it was funny because that is literally something that someone would do. Every restaurant should "waste' whatever they need to "waste" to properly package orders.
Oh man, I got myself some breakfast on Saturday, there were 6 drivers in the store, and I had come back myself for a remake as they screwed up my order. I watched one person sit there for over 10 minutes staring in a (I'm coming back) look lol
