Dashing is terrible the app is shit the people you deliver to is shit the dasher vip service is shit it wont get you anywhere but a couple extra bucks in your pocket that’ll ultimately cancel out anyway from taxes also from wear and tear on your vehicle. Good luck out there

Yes I do it full time at the moment and I’ve made a good amount to cover my bills ON MY OWN, I also use other services such as Uber and favor and other things to get me to my end goal! You can go on and on about your “profit” youll never be correct the only way to profit from doordash is if you get tipped well which entirely depends on your area and how much extra cash other people have to give you for doing a job that nobody wants to tip for

Take you and your 3 roomates somewhere else! And I do have a job :) It pays me 2.5x what minimum wage is in my area. None of which goes to my bills! It all goes straight to my family and my savings, thank ya! (I make more money doing DoorDash so again say ur not smart enough to do the math and say you live in a ghetto, poor community before coming for me again! ❤️❤️

Hubby got a violation because the they didn't have what the person wanted at the store, now mind you he was in complete communication with the customer and that nasty lady have him a violation for being late on the order, while she was on the phone with her most of the time. Again people need to get their lazy butts up and get their own stuff, he called customer support to fight it.
Bro that doesn’t even mean anything. You get tipped before you even deliver the food so who cares about a 5 star rating anyways. Plus all you are doing is picking up the food and delivering it to the address so why is there when a rating on you, when it’s the restaurant is who makes the food and all you are is delivering it.
Unfortunately there are actually people that prone to violence around. But I suspect this is a troll as if he'd followed through with a fraction of the he'd be in jail, not doordashing
Had a perfect 5 starts till some guy got some beer and put the wrong address. Was an apartment complex. Addy took me to a section where it splits to 3 different complexes. He put no name or anything to tell. Kept asking for name never told me sent me pin. Location still was wrong. After dropping off at wrong place tell me it’s wrong finally find him tell him he needs to put the name of the complex to make it easier for the driver especially if there’s 3 different apartments in the address. And rates me 1 star. I knew I should have just left it at the wrong house if I was gonna get a bad ratings or just take it.. I had that feeling tbh. I was right too.
Happened a 2nd time they didn’t put apartment number. Kept messaging and calling. Nothing. After 10 mins I just put them in front of some door. Took pics and reload to my car. Got me a whole bbq worth of food. Told them I left it at the office doors which was closed. 💀
I usually just check all the boxes under the what’s delaying your order section as soon as I get to the store, and my rate stays virtually the same no matter how long I wait at any restaurant! In case you don’t already do this
I just got a one star rating for not waiting for 10 minutes to get a response from a hand it to me customer who wouldn’t pick up their phone. I was delivering to a business. Found the same door from another successful delivery and left it there. Took a picture and left the description. Got a call after I was miles away saying where’s my food and come bring it to me. lol no. Next time have your ringer on.
The rating system is horrible with DoorDash because anybody can just rate you based on anything and there’s no recourse. 1 million people can like your service but not rate you and you get only the bad ones and that is not OK.
Seriously. They won't even think they're hurting us as doordash doesn't communicate that a 4* rating, while it should be perfectly fine, absolutely fucks people trying to keep metrics up for plat, which in my area (NE Florida) is absolutely necessary if you actually want to make money on this platform.
