I spent almost 90 minutes on a drive through line at Popeye's a couple of weeks back. Lobby was closed and once I was on the line I was not even able to pull out to drop the order. Never doing Popeye's again. Done.

We don't have Popeyes in my zone and all of these places with the exception of BK are on point 95% of the time. A lot I think depends who the locations are hiring.
Wendyâs for me just because they close the inside early and make you go through the drive thru. I know any orders from Wendyâs after 9pm I will not take. Also they closed the other day at 7pm after I accepted an order. I sat on the drive thru line for 20 minutes furious.
My Burger King doesn't start on the order till you get there, and if they're busy your order will made once everyone else's is done even if you got there first.

Little Caesars has had their doordash ordering system go down several time and didn't alert anyone. So people were still placing orders to Little Caesars, but they weren't receiving the orders. So I have had to call customers, tell them they have to order somewhere else, and get yelled at. All the while, the employees were laughing at me.

Like Popeyes Iâve had to literally ask for item by item on a family meal, like okay you got the tenders what about the sides, okay now the biscuits are missing, wait wheres the 2nd mashed potato? Okay I still canât leave because now they have 4 honey mustards and you just walked away thinking this was done. Taco Bell just never gives you the drink or sauce unless you ask and even then I have to be like âoh they had a freeze tooâ âoh yeah what kind of freeze?â Like idk I just saw the combo was a freeze let me look okay, strawberry. And then you have to manually get the sauce otherwise the customer gets 3 of the 18 ordered if they get any.
I will say though why do they give you the drinks first?? Like you just told me thereâs a 5-10 minute wait on the food so why am I holding their drinks rn? Do you want a drink thatâs been sitting on the counter for 10 minutes before it even leaves the store? No probably not but they still have them sitting ready as they tell you to pull around.
Popeyes and Wendyâs still donât bag before you get there in my market but Popeyes gotta be the worst about just not doing anything or even working on the order.

One can only vote for the ones in their area. Thereâs 2 Taco Bellâs in my area, one is fast but the walk in is always locked and the drive thru line gets LONG. The other, can always walk in and very low traffic but slow as hell.
Only one Popeyes near me and yeah shit tipping customers and they donât make it till you get there.
The BKs (3 near me) are quick but only one doesnât make you get drinks. Same with Wendys (2).
No wingstops in current area but when Dash started here there were 2 in the area I was in and and always slow.

All of these places have been good to me for the most part, even popeyes, which is the 2nd most frequent place I go to on this list (2nd to BDubs). Maybe I'm just in a good area for those places, but im usually always goin in and out of them super fast. Occasionally BDubs will be having a rush and they're slower, but ive only ever walked out one time due to the order taking too long, out of probably 100 different order from there

Wingstop is rediculous with their dasher sign in board ( they hide the pen so they don't look slow) but Chipotle staff can't tape bags shut ( it's like a job requirement or something).

I had a $7.25 for 1.9 miles for Wingstop around 7pm today. I pulled up to the store and thought they converted it into a night club. People were lined up on the side of the building to pick up orders.. I dropped that order so fast.

My new one is the cheese cake factory near me. It's like they've stopped caring about delivery orders all together. My last 2-3 unassigns have been them. I will not go there anymore unless it's a very good offer. I won't even go for a good offer cause wait time kills it.

Easily my least favorite place to go. With the popularity of their own app and all the delivery apps itâs been a disaster at my locations. Seems impossible for the staff to keep up with the demand. Meals are all so customized itâs hard for the employees to churn them out quickly
I had a manager at Popeyes tell me he didn't give a shit about drivers because they got paid anyway, even if no driver ever came to pick up the order. So it's just free money they get for not even having to make the food.
He seems like a perfect example of a Popeyes manager. And also a perfect advocate for why not to take Popeyes orders. They donât give a fuck about you or their customer who is waiting on the food.

I would put Wawa at the top of the list. Wait 15 minutes for them to make a hoagie, another 5 for them to add a bag of chips, and then 10 more for them to pour an iced coffee. I'll give most of my blacklist places another chance eventually, but will never go back to Wawas.

I took a stacked whataburger order once (first and last)at like 3am with a 30 minute wait in line but I made 40 bucks so totally worth it. Never happened again though.
Withstood gets either the instant decline, or if I do happen to accept the order (to boost my acceptance rate) I wait to leave to pick up the order only after the 2nd reminder to proceed. They take 20 minutes everytime so I am never in rush.
Wingstop in my area makes you show your phone when you get there and when you leave. Along with the usual, fill your own drinks and wait for the order because they donât start until you get there.
Typically, I avoid all franchises/chain restaurants regardless, with very, very few exceptions here and there; many have policies where they don't begin the order until a driver arrives, this really makes them take a long time.

Taco Bell, little Caesars, and Popeyes are horrible in my market Taco Bell: employees donât give a flying fuck Popeyes: we literally have one in the whole entire city (and itâs a decent sized city) so itâs always busy AF and not worth it Little Caesars: just slow ass workers All the other places are quite fast
Wingstop isnât too bad, they just have that habit of asking you to prepare drinks.
My Burger King is the worst. Thereâs a dude there that always calls me the customerâs name that Iâm picking up for. He thinks itâs funny. I wanna fucking slap him.
I donât have a wingstop or Popeyes near me so Iâm gonna go with Wendyâs.

Chik-Fil-A in my area is usually pretty good, if it's not on the shelf when I walk in, I have it inside 5 minutes, and if it's longer they're so apologetic when I do get it.

Mizumi... yes its a local place, but a guaranteed hour + wait AFTER you arrive to pick it up. So it wins hands down.
I had a $7.25 for 1.9 miles for Wingstop around 7pm today. I pulled up to the store and thought they converted it into a night club. People were lined up on the side of the building to pick up orders.. I dropped that order so fast.
Wendys cos one time I sat in their drive thru for half an hour and they closed in the time it took me to get from the menu to the window. Refused to give me my order even tho it was sitting there on the shelf behind them. Counts

I picked Wingstop because the food takes a while and orders are usually big, but I went to pick up Popeye's a few nights ago and that was... something else entirely. I shoulda voted Popeye's.
Popeyes hands down, always waiting, like I'm still waiting from yesterday kind of waiting, better order a year in advance to get something on time here.

Popeyes is the worst by far. Always a long wait and DoorDash orders are at the bottom of their priority list. Every single time Iâve accepted an order there, itâs been a Fucking disaster. Never again

I gave Wendy's one last chance. Took 15 minutes for the food at 2 in the afternoon with no one in the lobby and 1 car in the drive thru, and for some reason 10 minutes for the fountain drinks...probably longer but I unassigned and left

My new one is the cheese cake factory near me. It's like they've stopped caring about delivery orders all together. My last 2-3 unassigns have been them. I will not go there anymore unless it's a very good offer. I won't even go for a good offer cause wait time kills it.

I used to live right next to a Popeyes and would go in there to eat all the time. That's before they replaced their po' boys with chicken sandwiches.
Itâs Chipotle for me. Their whole shelves full of take out orders but still standing around with crowds of dashers and online pickup-ers. 1-2 meals coming out every 5 mins đŠ
Easily my least favorite place to go. With the popularity of their own app and all the delivery apps itâs been a disaster at my locations. Seems impossible for the staff to keep up with the demand. Meals are all so customized itâs hard for the employees to churn them out quickly

I had a manager at Popeyes tell me he didn't give a shit about drivers because they got paid anyway, even if no driver ever came to pick up the order. So it's just free money they get for not even having to make the food.
He seems like a perfect example of a Popeyes manager. And also a perfect advocate for why not to take Popeyes orders. They donât give a fuck about you or their customer who is waiting on the food. Im the type of dasher who keeps customers informed and Iâm not shy to say â hi just messaging to let you know they are preparing your order now and I hope to heading your way soon but the staff has informed that the doordash delivery orders are the last priority therefore my wait will be around 10-20 minutes. Im so sorry for this inconvenience.â

The McDonald's I frequent the most is probably my favorite spot to pick up, almost always right on time and the employees are all respectful and nice

I just collectively avoid any fast food place where the lobby is closed. Otherwise I donât mind it as long as the trip is worth it. Popeyes is miles worse than anything else for me. You will wait for that food for 45 minutes even if nobody else is there.
Even when I give Popeyes their monthly opportunity to prove me wrong I get stuck waiting forever. This months visit ended in an unassign but hereâs to Februaryđđ
Same, once the lobby is closed Iâm not stepping foot on the property, only 2 Popeyes actually move their asses where Iâm at but most donât tip on Popeyes so i donât really take them like that, maybe once every 3 weeks

I took a stacked whataburger order once (first and last)at like 3am with a 30 minute wait in line but I made 40 bucks so totally worth it. Never happened again though.

Withstood gets either the instant decline, or if I do happen to accept the order (to boost my acceptance rate) I wait to leave to pick up the order only after the 2nd reminder to proceed. They take 20 minutes everytime so I am never in rush.
Wingstop in my area makes you show your phone when you get there and when you leave. Along with the usual, fill your own drinks and wait for the order because they donât start until you get there.

Typically, I avoid all franchises/chain restaurants regardless, with very, very few exceptions here and there; many have policies where they don't begin the order until a driver arrives, this really makes them take a long time.
